Clean, well-maintained service area with easy Interstate access. Lots of convenient parking, in a safe, well-lit environment. Clean bathrooms and various food and sundry options round things off. You’ll find better options off the interstate, if you sacrifice convenience for quality, but if time is important, it’s a decent trade-off. Fuel is available as well.

Clean!  Very very clean!!  Both the rest rooms and the many tables were spotless. It is well staffed to keep it that way.  Lots of food choices.  Good to grab something to eat on the road but this rest area is nice to just sit at a clean table and enjoy your lunch.

In my heart I want to rate it a 1 but that would not be fair. This is a great rest area similar to what you would see on the NJ Turnpike... But Bigger! Got an electric vehicle No problem they have Tesla Super Chargers and other ones. LOTS of them. Plenty of gas and diesel; though higher fuel taxes in Maryland. The bathrooms were fairly clean even while busy. 
     My biggest gripe is ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF RATES IN THE FOOD COURT. For Pete's sake $3 for a drink out of a machine. That is just horrible. Most food prices are 20-40% over street value.
     The best way to sum up Maryland House. "If you need it while traveling... They have it. Just be prepared to pay for it."

I only stopped here to use the restroom! But from what I could tell it was clean and big for a rest stop especially the main building. It also looked like they had a good selection on food to. The bathrooms we're clean and featured those hand in dryers for washing your hands. Parking is hectec though even on a Sunday when I went it was a packed house. Overall good place to rest and eat or use the bathroom.

Great place for quick stop. The Dunkin Donuts staff is very friendly and very quick. The Mini Mart inside is rather expensive. They do have a great selection for quick bites and emergency needs. The massage chairs are wonderful. There plenty of bathrooms, vending machines and things to keep your kids occupied. Plenty of food selections Pizza, sandwiches, too full sit down restaurants.
