Visiting sandy cove decided to eat here. Our waiter Tim was the best. So friendly and personal. The crab dip and fried oysters to die for. Even the water was good. 5 stars all the way. I could see me driving the 2 hrs from NJ to come here again

Large variety of food, including sushi and raw bar.  Friendly service and comfortable atmosphere.  The Po' Boy fried oyster sandwich I had was very good.

Nice place. Great food. Charging me a $5 plate fee because I allowed my fiancee try my steak and I her salad. Not cool.

Probably the worst steak I have ever eaten. We definitely will not be returning. 

So we happened to pass by this restaurant and decided to give it a try. When we first walked inside we immediately got awkward stares and the atmosphere was just weird. You can tell it's a place that locals frequent and outsiders are simply, not welcome. But I am a true steak lover so we decided to still give it a try. My husband and I came with one other adult and two children. At first the hostess stated that there were no tables available in the "main eating area" so the best she could do is seat us in the "dining area", we didn't know the difference, it was our first time coming, so we agreed. So when we got to the "dining room area" she then tells us that there are no children's menus available in that area, and the children could only order from the menu in the "main eating area" (BUT you have to be seated in the "main eating area" to take advantage of the children's menu). So my question is why would you even offer us seating there, when you see two very young children with us? So, about 5 minutes later, there magically appeared a table available in the "main eating area". By this time, I was already very put off, but I went against my better judgment and we all got seated, again. I happened to order the Delmonico steak. When I received my steak it was completely burned. Any GOOD steak restaurant knows, that just because you order a well done steak, that does not equate to your steak being completely burned, hard, dry, and tasteless. The other two people I went with ordered a burger and a sandwich. They also found their food to be very subpar. The children received chicken fingers and they stated that they were simply "ok". I feel like this place is a "fake wannabe upscale" restaurant, with prices that don't match the quality of the food. I don't mind spending good money on a quality meal (I do it ALL the time), but nothing is worse than spending your hard earned money on a meal, that just isn't good. I'll stick with real steak houses from this point on. By the way, it didn't help that most of us had stomach aches afterward...

Wonderful atmosphere both in the bar and in the steak house. Personable, knowledgeable staff. Food is a little pricey but well worth it. Tony the owner is very friendly and happy to get to know regulars.
