Have you ever seen Drive-In, Diners, and Dives, and left with a craving of something like what you saw? Chaps will not only satisfy that craving, but will have you asking for more. I took a couple friends visiting from Jersey and they never had such good food. I had a the Rachel sandwich which was very large and tasty. They also have a unique tiger sauce to go with any sandwich you get. The fries were also very tasty. The price is great for everything you get. Staff are very friendly.

The pit beef was better than advertised! All the meat was excellent. The ribs were a huge surprise for me in how well cooked and tasty they were. The chicken was also very tasty. The sides were another story. The mac and cheese is supposedly home made. It may be made in the home of Kraft foods but it is most certainly not made from scratch. The green peppers onions and stewed tomatoes were different for me but not in a good way. They were overcooked and bland. They need some seasoning. The best side was the baked beans. They had a good and unique flavor. Part of the uniqueness is owed to the fact that they put some of their sausage in the beans instead of the more traditional cured pork belly. It's definitely worth the visit but it's in a seedy part of town with 3 strip clubs in close proximity.

This truly is the best pit beef in Baltimore. I got the Hobbit, I was in for a treat. I usually stick with a simple pit beef when I visit any pit beef place, let alone a new one, but I am glad it was recommended to me. What I received was a plethora of beef, ham, and turkey. Cooked to absolute perfection. They have an abundance of different sauces you can try, but personally anytime sweet baby Ray's is an option I look no further. Between the huge sandwich and the "small" fry I ate at lunch, I wasn't even hungry for dinner.

It has been hyped to me by several of my coworkers and since we had business on that side of Baltimore, we stopped and grabbed a bite to eat there. The hype did the food justice. The meat was perfectly cooked and the fries were crispy but not greasy. I left full and happy, and I would definitely come back here again to eat if work brings me back out that way again.

The best pit BBQ I have ever had and look forward to going again.. My famous people have gone here such a Guy and many more. Go and check it out and enjoy... 😁
