I gave this place the benefit of the doubt after reading all the reviews. If I can give 0 stars I would! I’ve called I’ve emailed and no response. Called again spoke with a nurse and told him that I’ve emailed and called. He said he would speak with my doctor about my issue and a week and a half later neither has got back to me! Definitely looking for new doctor. “Best Dermatologist”. If you need a Dermatologist with 5 star ratings try The Dermatology Institute of Boston!
Over booked all the time. Staff are clearly stressed given lack of appropriate staffing for the volume of clients they have. There are some doctors I have had good experiences with but mostly the care is stretched thin and not very diligent. If you have a matter that can wait several months then this office would work but if you have more urgent matters, find somewhere else. Consistent consecutive care is not an option at this practice.
Dr Mckool is amazing. I've been seeing her for 8 yrs. She takes her time and answers every question. And yes sometimes I wait a bit. It happens.
My dermatologist is outstanding, vey ki d, thorough and extremely knowledgable. My experience with all of the specialty dermatologists are exceptional. I woulnt go anywhere else
I was apprehensive after I saw all the bad reviews, but I just had a visit and it went well. Dr. Faith Williams and everyone I interacted with was nice and helpful. My only minor complaint is that I had to wait about 30 minutes before seeing the doctor.
I really thought these other reviews were just being dramatic. They absolutely were not. I had a tiny bump smaller than a pea removed for a biopsy and now have a quarter sized scar that keeps getting bigger because it wasn’t stitched up correctly. I’ve already gone back once because it was still hurting, and they just gave me a shot and told me I was fine now. It didn’t solve any of my issues. The doctor wouldn’t even tell me what the shot was, and didn’t have me confirm I wanted to have one - he ll just walked out, came back with a needle, and started prepping my arm. I had to literally get up to ask what it was and what he was doing before he would answer. Scary and awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. PLEASE go somewhere else if you can.
I'm so disappointed with my experience at Mass General Dermatology. I've never written a negative review before, but after my last appointment, I feel that it is important to share my experience so that others can make an informed decision when choosing their dermatology care. While I have a lot of respect for my doctor and did have positive interactions with her, the way the office is organized does not support optimal patient care or respect. I had a serious concern that I was not even able to bring up at my last appointment before my doctor left the room and never returned, never even asking me if there was anything else I would like to address. I tried to bring it up with the medical assistant, but was brushed aside and rushed out the door. Furthermore, after being a patient here for 5 years, I have had so many instances where I have felt disrespected by office staff and started to dread appointments as a result. I have since been seen by another dermatology practice and my experience there was wonderful and I am now getting the treatment and care I need in a very respectful way. If you're considering changing providers, know that there are better alternatives out there!
i’d give 0 stars if it was possible. horrible patient care + rushed appt for their derm revolving door factory.
I have never had a worse experience with a doctor's office. My appointment was 1 1/2hrs late. When Dr. Flavia Fedeles did see me she spent approximately 10 min. She made me very uncomfortable at one point. Which I'm not comfortable expressing on here. After reviewing my after appointment notes in app, Dr. Fedeles claimed to have gone over things with me she never had, as well as stated I had certain things on my arms instead of my back. She didn't explain much of anything. I left the room crying. I go to reception to ask for my parking to be validated. Just to be snapped at by the receptionist. Saying I needed a referral. Which the nurse had shown me in the room. I explained what the nurse said but the extremely rude receptionist continued to snap at me while I was already crying out of extreme frustration. This is the first bad review I have ever given. I urge people to find someone else.
I was there today, 3/18/21. The young gentleman at the desk in the lobby could not have been more helpful and welcoming to everybody who walked in. I hung out in the lobby for a while because I was early for my appointment and observed the way he went out of his way to help. Cheers to him! Regarding my dermatology appointment, that went really well, no complaints!
