My husband and I have been looking for a good mechanic that we could trust with our 2002 Jeep Wrangler. We had noticed the clutch was slipping and we're concerned. I found Maurice's on google and remember seeing his name around since I was a little girl. I am so glad we went to Maurice. He treated our Jeep like it was his own. Not only did he do a fabulous job fixing the problem but also performed maintenance on it which will extend the life of our vehicle. He and his staff are amazing and really care. I would recommend to anyone that they take their vehicle into Maurice. We are ready to take in our other car to him to fix!

Maurice’s Towing is awesome. I have been searching for an auto shop that is fast and friendly in Lakeland. I am a new college student in Lakeland, and also new to the subject of cars. So, when a friend of mine recommended Maurice’s, I did not know what to expect. HOWEVER, I was very impressed with the service. The staff ensured that I understood the exact origin of my car troubles. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, and even offered me a ride to school when my car went into the shop. Luckily, it was out just the very next day. With all that said, I would definitely recommend Maurice’s Towing to any college student. Great service, great staff and great prices! 5 out of 5.

Got estimate over phone for complete engine swap and was able to drop it off same day Mon. evening and have my truck back on road Thurs. evening same week the price was fair and they and work performed was beyond my expectations and owner gave me good feeling from the start. They do work they know needs to be done that you may not realise and I was only charged for parts and they worked with me on the price witch was great.

My engine light went on while I was driving in Lakeland last Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm. I panicked and called AAA. They sent out a tow truck from Maurice's in 45 minutes. The driver was courteous and professional and friendly. He asked where I wanted to go, and at first I thought I'd try to get into my dealership in Winter Haven. But I'd have to leave the car there for the weekend before it could be diagnosed. He offered to take me to Maurice's shop, where he is an employee. At first I was leery of going, but he said they were open 7 days a week and later hours than any dealership's service department. Within an hour, they had diagnosed the problem--the seal on my gas cap lid was loose and needed to be tightened. They charged me a diagnostic fee and nothing else. I met Maurice and several members of his family at the shop and was quite impressed with them all. Maurice is a real customer-oriented businessman, and the fact that he has expanded from repairs into towing and body work and is backed by AAA meant a lot to me. Thank you, AAA, for contracting with Maurice. Thank you, Maurice, for running such a helpful, honest business. I would return again if I needed work done in Lakeland and would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in his area. One final note: the restroom was spotless and I really enjoyed watching the fish tank while I waited for my repair.

Fast and efficient collaboration between Geico, Maurice’s, and Enterprise.  Rental car ready and waiting. 

Ready three days early. Cleaned my car in and out! 

Attention to detail, and they even kept me healthy with a cup of lemon water.
