Came in late at night on Friday before Hurricane Irma came to town. Actually, I came to the store with a blown out tire hooked up to a Tow truck after closing by a few minutes. The staff was extremely helpful to me and my family and we would recommend their service to anyone who asks. I would personally like to thank Andrew Parker for his outstanding service. Without his help we would have been stuck in Lakeland for the night with nowhere to go.

Like others have said, customer service does seem to need improvement. On my last visit, I was not very happy with the way they communicated what was being used and what wasn't in my Mobil One oil change. After I left I wasn't sure what they used and ended up having an oil leak a month and a half later. 
Bad experience. 
Here's the good part. I went back the morning I noticed the leak and they checked it out, gave me a free replacement oil filter and of course didn't charge me anything. 
The person at the register was actually nice and he made sure I got the oil I wanted and the filter I desired. In the end, it looks like someone of the staff is pretty good and some aren't. I won't hold that against the Good Apples.

I came when it was called Just Brakes now it's pep boys. The mechanic i had, his name was Ray. Big guy, really funny, was patient with me, knew what he was talking about. Seemed like he knew more than everyone else there. I was glad I chose this place. If it wasn't for Ray I probably would have returned from someone else's screw up to spend more and more money. Ray can get my business ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT! Not only was he friendly but he was hilarious. He's clean, professional, and I hope he stays there for as long as I own my car. Couldn't ask for a better mechanic. This place needed him badly. Every other time I got a mechanic who didn't know what he was doing. I wanted to give them one last chance and im glad I did. If I were you, I wouldn't let him go. EDIT: (I also noticed that after Ray started working here, the review ratings went up. Tells you something)
