I love this beach. Oddly shallow even at 60 yards off shore. camping here is always nice.

This is a fantastic park, I remember coming up when I was a kid, and now we're bringing our family back. Great park for kids- lots of beach space and the beach is shallow for quite a ways which is great for little kids. While we were there they had an issue with the water in the main campground (July 2017) but I believe they are close to resolving it- check ahead with the park if you're not certain. Will definitely be coming back!

Get on the beach early to save a spot; for a little rural beach it gets crowded by noon. Great place for the kids to play as the water stays relatively shallow for several feet into the lake.

Beautiful beach, shallow water, so great for younger kids. Many rental options to get on the water. Friendly staff. Groceries and gas within walking distance.

Nice fine sand beach. Shallow water, which is great for kids. The shallow water extends several hundred feet out before it it gets over 3 feet deep.
