Very inviting staff right from the get go. They have a great hot cider and fresh cookies waiting for you in the main office. Lodges are clean and comfortable. If your lucky, you will open your cabin door and be greeted by one of the neighborhood elk.

This place is perfectly located just outside the entrance 1 of the rockies. The cabin was okay, everything was working. The only reason I am giving it a 3 star is because of the beds. The beds were too small for me and my wife. Friendly staff.

Beautiful cabins with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Only about a mile away from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Free wifi and fresh chocolate chip cookies every day. Cabins have a fireplace with firewood for you to use. Perfect spot for a quiet mountain getaway. Chipmunks and beautiful birds everywhere. Not gonna lie - it made me feel like a Disney princess.

McGregor Mountain Lodge has been amazing. My husband and I came to celebrate our ten year anniversary and we could not have felt more celebrated or welcomed. They made our whole experience so lovely. The staff is friendly, helpful, and kind. The cabin was clean, just the right amount of rustic, and the kitchenette had everything we needed to not have to eat in a restaurant for every single meal. We had a fire place, a little table for eating, a living area, kitchenette, and bed nook. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Windows everywhere to take in the view from our cabin, and a wonderful little porch to sit on and enjoy the view and the sounds of nature around us. The office has hot drinks, cookies, a great seating area where you can read or just relax or have some friendly conversation with staff and other guests, if you choose. There's a hot tub on site that your can reserve so it's just for you; you're not sharing with everyone on site, making it feel very private and comfortable. In short, we could not have enjoyed our stay more. We will definitely be back to McGregor and I'd heartily recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Estes Park. It's also right outside of RMNP so you're basically right next door to one beautiful state park. Already looking to come back in the fall when the elk are bugling.

This is our 4th year staying at McGregor 😊 It's become our home away from home. The staff is amazing. The cabins are cozy, the view is beautiful and the wildlife is everywhere. Can't wait till next year to come back home😊 Till then I'll watch their live webcam on their Facebook page 😊
