Woodlands On Fall River was the perfect choice for our Estes Park vacation. Booking was easy as well as checking in. We arrived early and they gladly let us into our room. The rooms are all equipped with a full size kitchen and are plenty big. Fall river runs right outside the rooms with seating areas to enjoy the view. Our room also had a fireplace which was perfect for the cold evenings. Woodlands was perfectly located about 2.5 miles from Downtown Estes park, and a few miles from one of the entrances to the Rocky Mountain National Park. I would recommend anyone making a trip to Estes Park to stay here.

This is a 5 star place. Beautiful views, clean and spacious. Very quiet and all around awesome. They even have a blow dryer with diffuser in the rooms. Major bonus. Had I known, I'd have left mine at home. Full kitchen equipped with everything you need. Will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Cozy but spacious rooms right on Fall River. Elk, deer, and Blue Jays passed right in front of our room! Beautiful location and reasonably priced!

Very quaint get away in Estes Park. It's just outside of downtown Estes, away from the touristy downtown area. Also a quick drive up the road to Rocky Mountain National Park. We've come back here a few times to relax and go hike. Great spot.

When we visited here 7 years ago, we really enjoyed our stay. However, we were quite disappointed when we visited again recently. The location is still excellent, with rooms overlooking Fall River. However, although the rates have gone up a lot since our first visit, the buildings have deteriorated due to lack of upkeep. Our ground level bedroom window had broken blinds--I had to use paper towels to cover up the holes. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The lack of care for guests was readily apparent. There was no one to check in with when we arrived (at check in time), and no one to check out with when we left (at scheduled check out time). The room came with shampoo and soap, but no conditioner, and none was supplied the whole time we were here. The wood fireplace which they advertise on the website has no firewood. The facility has a coin-op laundry, but it is kept locked during morning and evening hours when guests might want to use it, and is only open midday when people are generally in the National park. The gas grill did not work because of an empty gas tank. Despite multiple requests, and promises by the staff to replace the tank, it never was replaced during the entire stay.
