I go here for one thing: pickles. I love their pickles and they're well priced. Otherwise, their inventory is... Well, let's just say that my own pantry has a bigger inventory than this store. For example, there never once regular flavored Red Bull in stock when I've visited this market, and I've been local for seven years. Heh! That should give you an idea of the variety. That said, I love the atmosphere in the store. It's a tiny "country store" type of place and I find that very appealing. The employees are exactly what you'd expect at a little country store: friendly and real. I like that. Their deli is probably the main pull to the place. It's good. There's a bar across the street by the same name that makes the best wings I've ever had. I like McKinley's. I go there for certain things and I'm always satisfied.

One star because it's not possible to give no stars. Was treated really badly by a register woman who let two people pass in front of me. After the first one, I called her attention to the fact that I was standing there, and she acidly answered that it's store policy to serve non-lottery players customers first. I pointed out that, next to my tickets, there was a bag of bread that I was buying, and how am I supposed to know about store policy? To no avail. After I paid for tickets and bread I said that, although I understood that this was not her fault, the policy sounded to me quite dumb. The reaction was quick, more acid, and with a higher pitch. I don't even understood what she was saying (let's say she's not of the most educated level) but I can assure it wasn't pretty. Evidently dumbness at McKinley Market is the only place where something actually trickle down from the very top to the very bottom.

I have gotten plenty of cheesesteaks and hoagies from here before from a young teen  in the back. They were always amazing. I stop in today a few months later and not only do I get skipped by this black gentleman in the back. I tell him politely as usual Italian hoagie lettuce onions sweet peppers and honey mustard. No tomato I'm allergic. I'm a tow driver so I get back on the road and when I get back to bucks county. I open up. It's a nasty poorly thrown together tuna hoagie with tomato and loads of mayo. DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THE BLACK GUY IN THE BACK. He was obviously hired because it'd be racist not to have someone of his background working there. He's an idiot. Skips people. Then tries to kill you. He's a scumbag.
