This was my first time, being at MedExpress Urgent Care on N. Illinois. It is very nice. All the staff is very friendly and very efficient. It has a warm atmosphere there that makes you feel at ease. They took care of my granddaughter and myself. I highly recommend that if you need to go to urgent care. Go there. You will be given the best care, from walking in the door until you leave back out again.

If i could give negative stars I would. The first time we came here, we had good service. However this go around is horrible. The check in and nurse we're great, but the doctor had no bed side manor. He walks I  listen to my baby's breathing, checks his ears and then says I'll give him antibiotics. He asked had he ever been diagnosed with asthma or rsv, i replied no. He then proceeds to walk out. So I asked does he have rsv? He replies, "No, bronchitis." How would he know, he not once looked in my son's mouth or checked his glands. I will not be back. 

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's bad bed side manner. You can't dismiss or just simply assume what a child has.

I have been to this location several times and have had very positive experiences from check in to checkout. The staff was very friendly to myself and my children. In one case I had real bad upper back pain and my infant with me.  I was in so much pain but my 9 month old did not want to sit in his car seat so the doctor offered to hold him. The staff is very caring and considerate and actually listened to what I had to say as opposed to rushing me out the door.  I will be returning!

If I could give this place a negative star I would.  This place is a joke. My husband took my son in for a broken arm in Feb of 2017. They gave him a disk with the copy of the xray and told us to go to children's hospital. On Monday we took him for a cast at the St Louis children's hospital only to find out the disk didn't open up the files of his arm xray. I called them immediately because they had to have a picture of his break in order to treat him.  I was told that I had to drive back to Swansea to get a new CD. The hospital ended up taking a new xray that I had to pay for. So I called medexpress and told them I'm not paying for incomplete service. There is no reason to pay for the same service twice. The office mgr  said she'd get back to us. 9 month later I was sent a bill. With no phone call or reason why. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. If there is ever a next time i will NEVER GO THERE !

The staff was wonderful and I had a great experience! We are lucky to have a place so close that provides such great care!
