Meineke Car Care Center has been America’s local auto repair shop since 1972. Starting out as a muffler shop we have expanded to a full service car repair shop that performs services from car ac repair to exhaust repair to tire changes at our tire shop. My car was towed here in an emergency situation, they fixed it and even did an oil change I needed in a very timely manner! Definitely coming back here for basic maintenance work!

Took my car in for a routine check. Mechanic said my suspension was rusty and that they would need to be replaced. Said because I was already in he'd a give me deal and change it for $1600. This was 3 years ago and I haven't had any suspension problems what so ever. Hoping somethings changed since.

Please do not waste your time or money. This place is incompetent. Not even worth 1 star. 3 months ago I had my front brakes done. Then started noticing shuddering during braking. Took it back in. They said my rear drum brakes had expanded out. They changed those out. Then there was clicking during braking and they kept saying the rear brakes needed adjusted. Finally took it to a separate Meineke across town and they said the terrible the work done had caused the clicking! I will never use this location again, probably never a Meineke again. Thieves, liars, and fools.

Grossly incompetent. I took my 2002 Saturn SL2 in due to a cooling system leak, and because Meineke is less than 3 blocks from my house. They replaced a coolant line and, supposedly, the water pump. Less than two weeks later, the bolts keeping the water pump spindle attached to the supposedly new water pump had nearly completely unscrewed themselves. This caused the barely three month old serpentine belt to come loose and nearly completely disintegrate. I did not know that the water pump spindle was the problem, so I took it to my regular mechanic for repair. They stated, in writing, the cause above. They encouraged me to return to Meineke to be reimbursed for the repairs my regular mechanic did, which were directly the result of the Meineke mechanic's ineptitude. My regular mechanic also stated that the supposedly new water pump probably isn't new at all, due to visible wear. Meineke refuses to reimburse for the repairs required to make my car drivable again.
