If I could give no stars I would. I took my car in because my check engine light came on. They told me the diagnostic test would be free then anything after that was $80. That evening before they closed I got a call about $300 to change my spark plugs and that MIGHT fix the problem. They never called to get my permission to do anything other than the free diagnostic test and when I went to pick up my car they had an $89.00 bill for a special test they said they needed to do. I'm just confused as to why they would do any additional testing if they said already they couldn't do anything without first changing the spark plugs. I feel like I was told one thing and then charged for another because I'm a female. My at-home mechanic says what I was told doesn't even make sense. I'm going to report them to the BBB.

UPDATE** THEY LEFT EVERYTHING APART UNDER MY HOOD. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO THE BBB.

Original review 1/10/2017: Terrible experience! I had my car towed in on a Monday 10AM. I did not hear back from them the entire day, no updates or anything on my car. At 4:45 I call them and talked to a man named Josh. I was told they “we’re about to look at it”, and they would have to run a diagnostic on it which was 76 dollars. I say ok and he says they’ll call me back. They closed at 6PM. That night, I received no call. They open at 7:30AM. The next morning at 9:45AM I call again, Josh answers, I’m told “we’re about to look at it”. When I asked how the diagnostic went I was told they were about to do it. At 12:19PM (more than 24 hours later) I get a call, it’s Josh and the diagnostic test is back. I’m told it’ll be $1650 for a power train control module, some plugs, wires and an air intake. He said most of the cost came from the PTC module. When I asked how much that was he said $750.00. That still left a huge gap in price so I asked more questions and the air intake was $120.00 so let’s do the math that leaves $780 for some plugs wires and what?! Labor?? I tell Josh ok, I’ll call you back before the end of the day. Well guess what I didn’t have to because at 2:45PM as I’m on my way to my daughters school Josh called me back, (the kicker) he was just checking on me. I had already talked to my normal shop by this point, told them the symptoms and what Meineke suggested they told me to pull my car ASAP! I told him I’d give him a call back hung up and called a tow truck service. I then called the shop back and told them I’d pay them for the work they had done and I’d have my car towed off their lot that day. I really wish this story ended here but it doesn’t... Upon my arrival, I was treated very distastefully. There was a man behind the counter who I am assuming is this Josh and possibly even the supervisor or manager of the place by the looks of his attire. The guy hardly says two words to me, doesn’t look you in the eyes and wasn’t very people friendly. Bad customer service. Just the icing on the cake to this whole thing! All in all this cost me $140 in towing and somehow the price on the diagnostic jumped to $86 (what kind of tax is that?) I’d never recommend them to anyone. I have a great shop right down the street who is awesome the only reason I used this place is because my uncle offered to pay with his meineke card but save yourself the time and money, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Don't do it. Not the right place for your money , too expensive . Parts and labor are twice as much. Find a better place for your money that you work hard for
