I took my car in on my way to work in the morning because they were losing tire pressure.  I did not have an appointment.  I was attended to quickly and graciously by service manager Philip Aarons.  My customer care advisor Michael Ferraro efficiently took care of my car problem and assured me within a couple of hours I would have two full and working tires. Indeed, later that morning I got a text that my car was ready to be picked up.  He was confident and reassuring.  Philip then got me a shuttle ride to work.  Very happy with the experience.

I am writing this letter because I extremely disappointed with the treatment and effectiveness of the service department from Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale. Apart from the fact that my car has had more issues that I care to mention (just to say it is a 2015 with 30,000 miles and the transmission is already having to be replaced), this dealer’s service department has had my car since August 30th, 2017 today is September 28, 2017 and I still do not have my car back and have no idea of when it will be ready. I have called the Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale service department in several occasions during the last month and I am always told that the car would the ready the following week. I was told for sure it was going to be ready today and once again now it is supposed to be one more week. The dealer never calls back to let me what I can expect. I have spoken to the service manager with the promise of a call back and still nothing. There should be a better communication with costumers. I never expected this from this company. They definitely lost a client.

This review is specifically for the service side of the dealership. I take all three of my vehicles here and would not go anywhere else. Service advisor Mike is great and always trying to find a way to save me money. They do not push for repairs or service you do not need.  I also appreciate the quick turn around, sometimes the car is ready within a few hours. If you schedule in advance you can get a loaner for as long as your car is in service.

Service advisor Mike is the best. Always accommodating, personable and professional. Cultivates customer loyalty. A real asset to the dealership. My last service visit was quite good overall. There have been significant improvements to the drop off and especially the pick up processes which have been significant weak points in the past. The loaner process still needs work however.  It is slow, inefficient and less than thorough. My loaner had gas this time around (gas tank has been empty at times in the past!) and was dirty inside (not the first time); clearly the previous driver had a dog or dogs in the car! (People please!!).  Improve this last aspect of the service experience for five stars.

I live less than 2 months in the USA and decided to approach this dealer because of the supposed good reputation of the brand. After checking the availability of the vehicle I wanted, and making an appointment by phone, I went to the test drive. After the test, the seller tells me that the car was sold the previous day and that he did not know and was willing to find another vehicle for me, more expensive of course!! An old trick of taking the client to his dealership without caring about the time of the people. I am very disappointed with his management. I did not expect this to happen in a Mercedes dealership. In addition, he showed me a clean Car Fax while I had found an accident on the online Car Fax. Be very careful when you approach these place.
