I just had an awesome experience with this place! I was nervous since I always hear about urgent care horror stories (this was my first time at one) and they quickly broke that stereotype. Pat is an awesome doctor and the rest of the staff are so kind and funny. Will for sure be returning here in the future!!

I had to go to Urgent care after a bicycle accident. There was a long wait, but they do make sure to listen to what happened and provide the best care! I blacked out after my accident and they took me back right when they found that out. I first interacted with nurse Shelly. One of the best nurses I've ever felt with! This nurse provides the best care I could have possibly recieved! Then I had Heidi Powers come in as my provider. Talk about effeciant and fast. She listened to all my complaints and came up with a plan fast. After radiology I came back up and waited for the results. I did not have to wait long, but they still apologized for the wait. Once I was finished, they gave me great discharge information and how to care for my wounded shoulder. If I ever need to go to urgent care again, this would be the one!

My boyfriend went into the Urgent Care Coralville location with a high temperature and flu symptoms. The staff there were very thorough and helpful. They took great care of him and when I got there to be with him they were very friendly and informative to what was going on. Made our experience as comfortable as possible! We thank Shelley and the whole staff for being so attentive!

I just needed to go to urgent care this evening and my wife and I were not able to get there until 7:15pm (15 min before closing).  We were so impressed with Dr. Wallace and the nurse, Shelly.  They were extremely professional, but also just really personable.  It's rare to find that nowadays, especially when your care extends beyond closing time.  We were able to go next door to get the prescription filled, but Dr. Wallace said they could call him if there were any hiccups with getting the prescription even though it was almost 8pm.  Bottom line, we left extremely thankful for the clinic and especially those providing care.

I'm not sure where these other negative reviews are coming from, but over the course of several years since Mercy Urgent Care opened, I have had nothing but competent, courteous, professional, and compassionate care. The doctors, nurses and office staff here could not be more helpful and professional. I've never had any insurance problems what so ever. Yes, they get busy sometimes and you have to wait - just like any doctor's office. But it's never been extensive. Great place to go and I'll continue to go back to when needed.
