It was so good we were miserable by the time we finished, Miserably stuffed that is. Every item we ate was incredible. Their clam chowder beats most we've ever had at the coast. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Baked beans and coleslaw were great and grilled shrimp and ribs were perfectly done. And the bartender went out of the way to make a special order drink as well as the server made us feel at home even though we were just visiting. This is the first time in a very long time a restaurant far exceeded our expectations. A perfect complement to their breakfast restaurant, Egg River.

It was actually our third attempt and we assumed our last. The service the first two times was awful but the food great. So we tried to decide if good food would over ride bad service. Well last night we were both delighted to find both great service and food. So for our visit last night we'd give it 100% great. So keep up the good work.

Our first time there and the parking situation almost had us heading somewhere else to eat but luckily we found street parking down a side street. The food was pretty good. I had the top sirloin. It was a little tough. My husband had the ribs and loved them. Service was ok. They forgot my salad and we had to remind them for it. My husband ordered rice pilaf and got coleslaw. For the price, I expect service to be better and the order to be done correctly.

The Mesquitery was recommended by some local friends. We stopped there after hiking. The menu is geared towards BBQ steaks and American food with a Polish vibe. We ordered the Pirogi with Bacon and onions. It was a nice appetizer. We both ordered The Boston clam chowder, it was very very good. Nice chunks of fresh clam and good size and flavor. We got a 20oz Porterhouse with Pesto Fettuccine and a Gorgonzola New York Strip with mashed potatoes and gravy and garlic bread. It was phenomenal. I really liked the New York Strip over the Porterhouse. Cooked perfect and seasoned well. I had no room for dessert. The meal was close to $100 bucks and i am sure there are more reasonable options available. It was money well spent.
