What the riding public needs to know:
1) All of our drivers are put through an exhaustive background check in accordance to the standard set out by the Public Utilities Commission(PUC)of Colorado. The drivers records that are screened are criminal, driving and medical.
2) All of our vehicles are inspected by the PUC yearly.
3) Metro Taxi carries commercial liability insurance that is specific to carrying passengers. Not that we want an accident with one of our taxicabs but we know accidents happen so we make sure that our customers are covered.
4) We have offer wheel chair accessible taxicabs.
5) 15% of our fleet is made up of hybrid taxicabs.
