You will find such big garage across Miami Beach city. They are cheap, $1 per hour compared to road side which could cost around $2.5 $3 per hour. All have electronic gates. Take ticket while getting in and pay at machine at ground entrance when you come back. You need to look for machine, it's hidden ;) . You might wonder about the time between you pay and you take care out of garage. But I guess they don't mind that as long as you don't spend too much of time. I liked this spot because it's very near to South Beach 7th street entrance where you have restrooms and showers.

At $1/hour to park so close to the South Beach is a steal. The garage is well lit and has ample space. The place is manned by a handful of security folks which always adds to feeling of safety. Just make sure you don't lose the ticket because that's going to cost a steep $20.

It's a public parking lot. You still pay $1 per hour which is nothing compare to it's location(next to south beach)! Definitely handy. You will find a space even it's a hot spot ;)

$20 a day and right by the beach, come on, it's the perfect place to park if you're in town for a week or hitting the beach for the day.
