My best friend who is a mechanic was the only person I ever trusted working on my Mini Cooper. Well after moving to Madison I needed car work done and searched around and tried Midwest Engine. They did an amazing job for a reasonable price. Shortly after I took my car there again for some cosmetic work and they nailed it. Colin at the front desk is helpful\polite and they do what they say they're going to do. It's nice to have a place I can take my car and trust the people with it. Great Shop. 5 stars

Midwest Engine Service is a top notch auto/boat repair shop. They have their own machine shop in house. I had my heads done here for my boat, then Wayne the owner taught me how to adjust my own valves as well. It's running great two years later with no issue. Also this fall I was having issues with the shifting of my boat I went into talk to Wayne about it, he know's I'm a do it yourself kind of guy so he gave me a VHS tape right from the factory about how to adjust the control cable. Not to mention he had to look all over his shop, office, storage to find it. That's customer service! If you want it done right for a fair price you go here. Five Star!

Friendly, honest, reliable, & professional. I gave Midwest a try almost 10 years ago, and from day one Collin has always been wonderful about informing me of my options, providing the best solutions to meet my budget and preferences, and helping me get through bad scenarios as smoothly as possible. They’ve had my business ever since because I know I can trust their information and results, their great loaner cars make it possible to go on with my normal day without mine, I always get my car back running and looking its best, and they often go above and beyond to ensure the best experience.

Over the past couple of years, I have taken both of my vehicles here for service.  Midwest is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and honest about what's truly going on with my vehicle.  I have never felt like I'm being sold to, but they are great at giving the recommendations for what services my vehicles need to stay at optimum performance.  I even stopped over one early morning last winter when my car was making odd noises and Wayne the owner listened to it (without charge or an appointment) to see if it needed service right away.  Huge thank you to Collin as well for his cheerful and speedy interactions as the service manager.

Not only does Midwest deserve a five star review, plus more, I would like to say that Midwest Engine Service has never let me down. I have been in bad situations where I have been stuck with a vehicle that didn't start. They have come to get me, my vehicle, and provided me with transportation. Prompt service, reasonable prices and great professional people to work with. I have recommended them to all my friends. Would not take my vehicle anywhere else. I have always been happy with their work. Thank you Midwest.
