I started seeing the Doctors at Midwest Family in January 2016 and found them to be the most diligent, honest and caring medical professionals I've ever seen. I have severe health issues and Midwest saved my life. Over the last eighteen months there have been some changes, some hiccups here and there but the treatment that I've received from the Doctors there, has not changed at all! They truly listen to me when I speak to them and that makes for an excellent relationship. I have complete confidence in everything they tell me. I trust them completely. I've seen some unwarranted criticism on this page and felt I should respond. Dr. Gordon has been totally professional and, without a doubt, knows her field. She's been extremely honest, caring and patient and I highly recommend Midwest Family Practice to anyone who wants to see a Doctor that actually listens to them. I want to thank Midwest Family Wellness and Thorek Hospital for saving my life and I wish their entire Medical Community well and encourage them to keep up the excellent work.

It seems I have similar problems as the other reviewers from the past month. I really liked coming here and used to recommend this place to my friends, but now things seem really unorganized there. It took two months to schedule an appointment. I eventually was able to scheduled for a month out, but the day before, the doctor canceled. The pharmacy has also been trying to get a hold of them, but have not heard back. I called to follow up, and never received a call back. Unfortunately, I found out one of my referrals has been having similar issues, too. Now I'm researching other places to go.

I am having the same issue as the other reviewers. I have been going to this office for a few years and they once was the best when Dr. Gillion, Dr. Nyguen and Dr Benoit was physicians here, now I never can get an answer when I call and the 2 times I did receive an answer I was told I would receive a call back and never received a call. I have been trying for over a month to get prescriptions refilled and was told the refills would be sent to my pharmacy. It had been over a month and I have yet to receive a call regarding my request nor has my prescriptions been sent to my pharmacy. Either they need to replace the physician AGAIN or replace the whole staff! But this office has gone to S#!! Unorganized and unprofessional.

I was very happy when I first started coming here. Doctor and staff were great and office was nice. In the past month I have not been able to get a hold of anyone when I call, nor can I make an appointment online. My pharmacy has also been trying to contact them for over a month to renew my prescription and they haven't had any luck. I don't understand what has happened! I no longer would recommend this doctor.

This used to be a great practice but not any longer. I told the doctor during my appointment that an authorization for must be sent over the my pharmacy along with the prescription. Instead, nothing was sent to the pharmacy and now I can't get ahold of them to ask them to do so.
