Dr. Houston saved my son's life. My son was born in 2001 with severe bilateral reflux that caused scarring to his kidneys and lead to constant urinary tract infections. For two years I took my baby to many many urologist seeking help, but none would treat him due to his age, he was too small and it was too risky to their workers comp. We were warned by radiologist that our son would require dialysis if his condition continued. Finally as we were about to give up, we found Dr. Houston. He saw my son's test results and immediately confidently decided to provide the surgery my son desperately needed. Dr. Houston does not compare to any other doctor we have ever worked with. His level of care is profound, the absolute best. He communicated with us like no other doctor, taking time to ensure we completely understood our son's condition and what he would be doing to correct it. When my baby went into the operating room, we were scared but knew he was in the best hands with Dr. Houston and we could trust with confidence that he would be returned to us perfectly fixed. Note, Dr. Houston actually worked on both of my boys that day and both were made perfect. Dr. Houston is the best, he is a genius, there is no other doctor in Chicago that compares. If he is running late with appointments, so what. As you wait, he is investing himself into another child, the same way he will invest in yours. It's worth the wait. We never waited more than a few minutes anyway. You can trust that Dr. Houston will deliver extraordinary results. He is gifted with knowledge, wisdom, skill, precision, compassion, confidence, dedication, a sincere love for his patience, strong communication skill with parents, selflessness, courage, tenacity, great follow through, etc, etc, etc. Overall this man has been gifted by God to heal and save lives, he is a blessing to our family and probably thousands of others. He will ease your fears and lovingly fix your child. My son calls Dr. Houston his hero. It has been 9 years since my son's surgery on his 3rd birthday. We have had no issues ever since. Every day I look at my son and give thanks for Dr. Houston, I can't imagine what our lives would have been without his intercession. If your child is in pain and suffering, don't waste time, trust Dr. Houston to fix them.

We think so highly of Dr. Houston and definitely recommend him for pediatric urology concerns. We've taken our son there for the last year to get help with bedwetting issues, and Dr. Houston has been very methodical and thorough in figuring out the best options to hep our son. Dr. Houston is very caring, good with children and takes his time with each appointment, so you never feel rushed. He does tend to run late as the day goes on, but it's fine if you can schedule earlier appointments. We think he's worth a little wait.

We took our then 5 month son to see Dr. Houston on the recommendation of our pediatrician because our son had an enlarged testicle. After we waited in the waiting room for over an hour, we finally got in to see the doctor. He examined my baby for about 30 seconds before declaring that his condition required surgery. Needless to say, we were terrified, but he's a doctor and he seemed trustworthy so we went ahead and scheduled the surgery. We did our due diligence as parents and sought a second opinion. That doctor told us - after a much more thorough examination - that the condition my son has usually corrects itself in time and that 75% of the cases he saw in younger infants were cleared up by their first birthday. It is beyond me why Dr. Houston would choose to perform surgery on a BABY when it isn't medically necessary, or why he wouldn't take a pragmatic approach when dealing with babies as to avoid having to sedate them and slice into them. I wonder if it has anything to do with the $100,000 Jaguar parked in his parking lot? I am no doctor, but I found him to be lazy and unethical, and he should be ashamed of himself.
