The food was very delicious! Now this is soul food. I am not a cake person and I don't like icing but I tried the Red Velvet cake and it was unbelievable. I've never tasted cake that good. The customer service could have been better. 2 employees showed good customer service but others displayed attitudes. Everyone in my party was very satisfied with the taste of the food. We will definitely eat here again.

Was in Houston for two week and was craving some good southern food. Let me tell you this place is awesome. First trip had pepper stake, potatoes, pinto beans, and mac and cheese. The helpings were so big I had to take half home. The next trip was meatloaf and yams. Again had to take some home. Go before 6:30 because they close at 8 and they will run out. Everything was great down to the kool-aid

I absolutely L.O.V.E this place. You feel the good vibes as soon as you walk in. The excitement of some good soul food approaches as you walk to the entrance door. The staff is just wonderdul. They have some out of this world oxtails, and the cakes are just...fantastic. Love this place, keep representing the South, and good job guys!

I begged my husband continuously to take me on my first trip to Mikki's after hearing the good reviews about this spot. Once we got there we got our food and went to the register only to for the cashier to give my husband an attitude for asking where to go to get the daiquiris. Mind you it was packed and our first time there but she was rude with her response. Nick is a young guy that works there and he was very helpful also the sister of the owner, can't remember her name but she was kind. Overall, the food was delicious.

Every time I go here for the most part I am completely satisfied with my order. Once they did serve me some dry chicken and the lemon cake was a bit dry too but the food is always good to me!
