Voila! Here is my story: Mimi is the name of a French lady in France and the restaurant has been in this location for the past 10 years providing breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7 am to 10 pm. However, there are more restaurants in other locations in Phoenix and around Arizona. The overall atmosphere of restaurant is cozy and heart-warming and their menu is extensive. They also have a kids menu and a to go menu. They cater but do not deliver. My lunch together with a glass of French white wine was delicious and service providers were kind and attentive. One feels the touch of French in the types of food, desserts and drinks which is favorable but having lived in both places I have always preferred the services of American restaurants to the European ones. Mimi's Cafe has the advantages of both but the prices of items are a bit at the high side. Have great croissants and muffins presented to me after lunch. An enjoyable dining.

I didn't think I'd enjoy this place as much as I would. The servers and manager gave excellent service and the restaurant was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. This was a chain I never thought I'd visit. But, I did and the food was delicious. I had some of a stuffed pumpkin spice muffin, and a Chipotle burrito. The potatoes side were so good. Also had a pumpkin spice latte, which was perfect, not too sweet. Would definitely go back.

Had a horrible experience. Ordered chicken pasta, mix and match quartet, and waffles with eggs and bacon. Chicken was burnt, food in the mix and match quartet was cold, and the bacon and eggs were forgotten about. One meal was served 20 minutes late. When bacon and eggs came, eggs were wrong. Talked to manager, she argued that the eggs were not wrong and that the mix and math quartet food was what we had ordered. Fought with us continuously. Service was slow, but waitress was extremely nice and helpful.

The hostess rolled her eyes and stomped off when we asked if she could check the status of our to-go order that we had been waiting an excessive amount of time for. Like she actually rolled her eyes and stomped off. 😮😮😮 The only thing we had asked her for prior to this was to find someone to take our order after we'd been standing at the vacant bakery counter for over five minutes (where she told us to wait). She was the only employee in sight both times and it seems logical that a hostess could easily help with these two questions?? Apparently not. Other restaurants are very helpful and accommodating when you are waiting for a take out order and often even offer you a drink or a snack while you wait if it's going to be awhile. I don't need that, but a friendly welcome would have been nice. Very very unprofessional hostess and very slow unwelcoming service overall. We have always loved the food here but the service today was a horrible experience and we may not be returning.

Great food, big portions with eggs, meat, and pancakes or waffles for about under $12 You won't leave hungry and everyone treats you like family! My girlfriend and I frequently pass Mimi's and this past Sunday decided to stop. We were quickly seated in a very rustic and cozy setting. Our waitress Gayle was one of the best, if not the best waitress we have ever had. She welcomed us and treated us like we were her family. Gayle discussed the menu thoroughly and ensured we were ready to order without rushing us. Our food was great and arrived quickly. The portions were very large. Gayle did not rush us and even offered more coffee after she brought us the check. We felt very at home and took her up on the cup of coffee as we sat for a few minutes after paying. The manager also came over with two free muffins since it was our first visit. Although I do not know the managers name, he was a natural manager. He too treated us like family and made for a great overall experience. As we left we came to the conclusion that all the employees we encountered were extremely friendly and pleasant and that the manager helps to make the atmosphere a pleasant one for everyone, workers and customers alike. Thank you for a great experience Gayle and Mimi's staff!
