Came in with a busted upper lip requiring stitches.  Dr. Maria Tillman did a great job stitching me up, looks great.  Really efficient delivery of care, I thought they did a great job.  By trade I'm an ophthalmologist, so I stitch eyeballs back together, so my knowledge and standard of what's a good repair and what isn't is fairly high.  They met and exceeded my expectations.  Great job to all involved.

Went in because I couldn't breathe my throat was filled with mucus. I was taken to a room where I sat for three hours before they gave me breathing treatments for what turned out to be pneumonia behind my heart. They only checked on me three times during the three hours then at shift change the oncoming Dr ordered an x-ray and found out  I had one pneumonia got me abreathing treatments. Completely cruel hospital.

First time I went I had an ear infection. They told me it would go away. Second time it didn't go away, they told me to put essential oils in my ear. I saw a different establishment and got antibiotics. Third time I had food poisoning and they tried to send me home with nothing. I was very sick and had to advocate for my health to get medication. I did finally get what I needed and felt better in 24 hours. They told me that they would call me back with results of my food poisoning and I didn't hear back so the next day I called. I was informed that they had my results ready since the the day before. But the woman on the phone couldn't share my results with me because she wasn't a doctor. I was told a doctor would call me back within the hour. 3 hours later I called back again, and she shared my diagnosis with me. I was also asked if they gave me certain medicine to fight the infection. When I explained that I had to practically beg for it from the doctor her response was "I'm glad you did". How do these doctors even get their medical license?! Prescribing essential oils and sending someone who was violently ill with nothing?! Common sense is in short supply.

Absolutely flawless and amazing administration and care. No wait, saw two nurses and a doctor within five minutes with our two year old whom had nursemaid's elbow and was fixed immediately. They made the process easy and painless, literally! Excellent staff and care.

This time My first time at ER  was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say  Dr Mark Richards and nurse Mike and all the other employees of Ascension Eagle River Hospital made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile when I left, then you can believe they are the best. I am so grateful that we have these quality providers so near to home. This was the best team of medical staff I have been around in a long time. A big thank you to all of them.

Rude and incompetent doctors and staff. Going anywhere else would be better. I've had bad experiences here and have heard many horror stories about this place and the people who work here. Marci McDonald will tell anyone who'll listen my entire medical history and life story.  I'm sure she does this to everyone.

Went in with my three year old son who had taken a fall. We were in and out with x-rays in less than 2 hours. The nurse, doctor, and radiologist tech were kind and patient with my terrified son. Very grateful to the staff.

I had to go here after an ATV accident that occurred in the UP. Being a Saturday, this was the closest urgent care/ER. As one might imagine, after the accident took place, we had to work out how to get the machines back to our campground in Wisconsin and how to get ourselves to the hospital, since we couldn't just drive the 4 hours back to the camp site on the machines. Everyone I encountered was super nice, except for the doctor. He kept interrogating me as to why it took 6 hours to get there, ultimately referring I had been drunk and was waiting to sober up. We went round and round about this the whole time I was there, and personally, his job is to treat me, not interrogate me. Especially since he couldn't understand that I would never drive anything intoxicated, because I really don't drink. I also appreciated him telling me they weren't going to check me for internal injuries, because it would cost too much. My mom, who drove 5 hours to be with me, finally just told him she doesn't care how much anything costs, he needs to just do his job and run the tests. Honestly, I just got the feeling he REALLY hated his job, but when I go to the ER after a major accident, I need all my bases covered, not someone who will just say ehh good enough.

Went into the ER two months ago for shortness of breath and elevated heart rate, the doc literally called me crazy, told me I was fine, but sent me home with prednisone. I threw it away. Do not recommend.

Brought my daughter to the ER, they got us in quickly. The DR and RN were extremely helpful and efficient, we were there for less than 2hrs!!
