I have been a visitor in and out of this hospital for the past two months.. the care has been great for my friend and that is why you get one star. Please, please, please hire some people to clean!!! You are so concerned with the Flu if the hospital was actually cleaned the threat wouldn’t be so bad! Door handles, chairs, railings, just to name the basics. I know for a FACT that in the NICU in the fall there was a case of Bed Bugs!! I have been in at least 4 different ICU waiting rooms and they were all nasty! I hate to be so harsh but I always feel like I need a shower as soon as I leave. Like I say the care of my friend was good but the entire hospital needs cleaning on a regular basis :(

I had my first child here and being a new mother didn't know much. Well they kept me there for nearly a week. Monitoring and keeping me on the bed because my plug came out and because there was a single decelerated heart rate, which most docs have said is normal. Then they decided to induce labor 2 wks early which was ridiculous. It is 20x more painful than natural labor, they wouldn't even let me walk around when i was in labor and told me to stop moving so much since i was wearing monitors. Then when i finally agreed to an epidural (which i kept saying no but the nurse kept pressing for), they had a freaking student do it (i was unaware at the time) and he messed up so the doc had to redo it. The nurses here are mean and unprofessional, and the service is nothing that we expected. They ignored my birth plan and didn't even let my husband take pictures. I got no sleep the whole time and people just kept bossing me around. My second child was natural and far smoother at a different hospital where there was no pressure or inconsiderate employees.

Between children, I had a miscarriage and rushed to the hospital.  I was in the waiting room for FIVE hours. I cried for the first two and was in pain. I sat in a wheelchair pooled with blood and passed the baby right there in the waiting room. By the time the doc got us, they just checked to see that all the tissue passed and sent us home, which took another 2 hours. WASTE of time and SO disappointing, i wish i had stuck through it at home. I was told miscarriage is like a heavy period, yet i filled our toilet full of blood and nearly passed out which is why we went. Useless people.

I was at Mission Hospital this past Friday for a scheduled induction. My very expensive, newly purchased winter coat and zip up hoodie were put in the closet of my delivery room during my approximate ten hour stay on that floor. 
After I delivered, I was transferred from labor and delivery to the mother/baby unit where I stayed one overnight. When I got to my room, I realized my belongings were still in the closet of the room I delivered in. I called down to the desk and gave them the details of my items. It is now Monday night, my boyfriend and I have been in touch with several different nurses, security, lost and found, and administration. The nurses identified that a lady, Whitney, cleaned the room and did not turn in my belongings. They are nowhere to be found.
It is extremely frustrating and upsetting that I went in to give birth to my little boy, and couldn't leave my items in one room for more than an hour without getting them stolen by an employee at this facility. This person should be ashamed of herself.

I just had the most pleasant experience this past Friday evening. I went to the ER for what I thought was a broken rib (ended up being pulmonary contusions) and immediately upon intake was constantly informed of what was going on, what I was waiting for and where I should go. The employees and nurses were all informative  and easy to talk to. 
I've had a number of broken bones over the years and have spent time in a bunch of hospitals....I really DID NOT want to go to Mission but I was having trouble breathing and felt I had to. This place was great. Such nice people. I'm very glad that I went.

This place is a ridiculous!  They lost a patient while I was there with traumatic brain injury.. as in can't find him.  They left a man with the mental capacity of a 2 yr old alone! I heard them call his emergency contact asking if he showed up at the house.. like he could just drive himself home. 
I went in for chest pains and they sent some pharmacy lady in to ask me if I'd like a prescription for nicotine 😳 I'm in the ER on a Saturday afternoon for chest pains.. I think I need to be done.  What medical professionals help you keep your addiction?
My discharge papers said they did a pregnancy test which they did not do... because I refused it ... they came back after drawing blood and said they needed more for a pregnancy test.  I'm in my 40's and single.. I'm not pregnant. They also put that they ordered a meal but they didn't.  In fact I had to take off all my leads and whatnot and told them I'm thirsty I'm going home so I can have a glass of water and the nurse said ok .. not let me get you some water you've been here for hours and we have you aspirin and no water.  Nope had to request it twice. This is the worst most unprofessional medical establishment I've ever seen and I've been active duty military.  Avoid at all costs!
