Every single room is great, but the best would be the top floor corner room. Floor to ceiling windows on two walls, and it's a beautiful suite. I stayed there for about 6 months and have no complaints. The staff is the friendliest hotel staff I've ever dealt with. They always great you with a smile, and treat every guest like they're a regular. The restaurant and bar are top notch as well. Excellent food, great wait staff, and some great happy hour deals if you can get in time. Breakfast is great and with Japanese and American food you can try something new if you're feeling up to it. This hotel offers some of the best accommodations at a great price. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Very friendly staffs (front desk, house keeper , dinning room, everyone).  Clean and modern room.   Floor to ceiling glass, with heavy balcony door.   The shower stall is quite unique, which i think fit well with couple  :).   Nice breakfast set up where asian foods are on one side and a US hot breakfast is on another.  I would stay here again.

We stayed in two rooms of the hotel. Check in was smooth and fast. The lobby is really pretty and when we had some people waiting they relaxed on the sofas with some lemon water. The rooms were really spacious and had a good view of the city. Genuinely thought it was a great stay!

Most excellent hotel. Big brand hotel feel but boutique in nature. Gorgeous LEED certified building with a uniquely Japanese feel that's modern and appealing. Full spa services, great Japanese restaurant (room service provider) and bar, very nice meeting accommodations. A plus: being close to old Torrance as well as a couple of excellent breweries, Monkish in particular (a destination brewery in my book).

Have been here multiple times for business lunches. Very good food (especially the chirashi bowl) and the included salad bar and miso soup is good as well. Sometimes gets a bit crowded during the week and you should plan to make a reservation if you have more than 5 people.
