I moved into the Ambassador Apartments in Cleveland, OH. So far my experience has been HORRIBLE. Let's start with the general cleaning of the apartment. It was nasty when I moved in. There was still food in the cupboard from the last tenant. There are tons of tiny carpet beetles everywhere. The cupboards themselves were covered in a gray slime. I won't even talk about the bathroom. GROSS!!! I came in a day early and cleaned everything. However, I didn't find out about the carpet beetles until after I moved in, so I am stuck with doing spot treatments every week. 
Now, let's discuss the maintenance staff. They are the dumbest people ever. My cupboards don't exactly close. You have to wedge them closed. I asked them to come and fix the problem and was shocked at their response. "They are as good as every other suite." Not kidding! I resorted to calling a carpenter to fix the cupboards. My fridge leaks like crazy. I have two options. I could have it leak inside the fridge where I can control it or I can do what the maintenance staff suggested. They leaned the fridge back against the wall and left my frozen food on the counter to defrost all day. The leak then was all over the floor. I am stuck with either cleaning the leak out of the inside or outside of the fridge. I went with catching the leak in a container and emptying it every three days. 
Want energy efficient appliances? Not happening here. My fridge uses more energy than my entire apartment in New York with energy efficient appliances. 
You are better off going somewhere else to rent an apartment. I decided I was leaving a month into my rental.

I live in Fairhill Tower, It is a wonderful place to stay. very close to case western reserve university and cleveland clinic. I walk to school or take a bus in front of this building, most guys who live in this building are working for CCF or studying in Case. It has a fit room and a swimming pool, and manager of this company is very nice, they offer regular pest control and quick response to fix the living problem. my apt faces to the fairhill rd, gives me a good view of the downtown and north park. I have been living here for one year, strongly recommend one who wants to find a comfort apt to live here.

Poor maintenance, management office are rude and refuse to repair basic stuff like leaky tap broken cabinets etc. if the lease ends and you like to stay on month to moth bases they ask for over $200 per month on top of the rent

The management office has some rude people. Look elsewhere if you can.

The apartment is old with lots of cockroches but that is bearable. I agree with the other comments that the staff working there in the office are the worst; rudest and offensive ! At one time, I was asking about the the change of lights in the living room which was sealed and it blew...I got the answer - THAT IS YOUR OWN BUSINESS and the person just hang up. In Fairhill, the snow would pile up in the front of the entrance and you could even ski there. There was also a time where they advertised that they would give $100 for any person you recommend. When I called them to say that I just recommended my friend who just moved in, they said, oh.....your friend wrote down the website, and not your name. I said that this is because I told my friend to look into your website to choose the apartment he is interested in and your form never asked for which friend who recommended to him. I told them I have the evidence all in our email before my friend moved in. They became very rude, keep cutting me from talking and even accused me of probably making a deal with my friend. I told them that if you are not willing to give, pls do not pass around pamphlets to promote that you are giving money for recommendations.
