Does anyone not like Monuts? They make the best donuts, both yeast and cake. They make their own breads for sandwiches at lunch.and, just this week, I went in and they had an array of Christmas bakes goods. The lemon ices gingerbread men were amazing! One of my favorite spots in Durham for coffee, bakes goods, or a quick bite. Expect a wait on the weekends and at peak lunch times. Well worth it, though!

Very cool spot. Everything tasted amazing and the staff was very helpful. Nothing is cheap here but nothing is too expensive either. .. donut was incredible and very fresh not too sugary. Bagel was perfectly fluffy and chewy not too dense and that egg was cooked to perfection along with crisp veggies. Best bagel sandwich I've had. All other options looked incredible and biscuits were massive. Creative menu that's seasonal aswell.

Just an exceptional brunch experience. The food is prepared quickly and taste amazing!They serve Counter Culture coffee just like all the important Durham staples. The order tickets are very unique and fun!(see photo).

Monuts is a delicious staple for durham breakfast, brunch, or lunch. This place is NOT quiet. It’s NOT somewhere to go for silence to read or work while you grab a bite. There are usually LOTS OF CHILDREN here (it’s a donuts place, of course families bring their children!). If you are wary of young children disrupting your meal, be careful when sitting to the right of the door against the wall... because the children’s table is in the right front corner (and there are toys and books, so it does get somewhat wild at times). If you are vegetarian, there are usually some options but not many. “The usual” is a meal consisting of 3 sides off the menu which may be easier for people with dietary restrictions!

Easily one of my favorite places for breakfast or brunch. Great people that care about their food, and especially their donuts. Plus you can get a beer or a mimosa with your breakfast!
