I went here based on the reviews I saw and I love shopping in the Trussville Pinnacle square area and I am looking for a new waxing place.  Disclaimer: I recently moved from Atlanta, and love my previous eyebrow threading/wax location (Unique Threading and Waxing), so I held this place to high standards. The prices are similar.  

I went for a Brazilian and underarm wax. 
The interior is subpar - their needs to be an update. The lighting is dim and it made me feel as though it was not clean. The waxing table is made of faux leather (which is not a problem) but it was pealing. She placed some paper on the table, but I did have to ask her to place more to cover the entire table prior to me getting onto the table.  She stayed in the room while I was getting undressed - which was kind of weird.  The floor was dirty, it needed to be swept. There was long hair as if someone combed there hair there or perhaps the room had been used for salon clients? 

The waxing was going well. Painful, but not out of the ordinary.  She did not double dip. She gave me a pair of gloves to assist, but during the processed I noticed that I was bleeding. She had ripped some of my skin off during the Brazilian!  I have had many waxes, but this was the first time I had ever had that happen. I noticed that she was applying wax to large areas at a time then removing smaller portions. I've never seen it done that way, and perhaps that's what caused it. 

She kept the same bloody gloves on while touching the other products like the powder and removed them after I had grimaced. The underarm wax was fine. But this was my first and last time going to this location. She stayed in the room while I got dressed, but then left to go to the register. I didn't see her wipe down any of the items she touched or the table.  Some of the reviews say they are unsanitary - this is correct in my opinion. 

I'm not quite sure how it got such great ratings. I suspect that someone is removing bad ratings, or maybe I'm just unlucky.

I recently got into mink lashes a couple of months ago. I had received applications from another facility but decided I would give Moon's a try since they are right down the street from my home. That was the worst decision I could have made!! When I arrived for my appointment, one of the younger staff members started my mink lash service. Within that moment, I had a feeling that I was not going to be pleased because something about the young lady made me feel like she was inexperienced. Long story short, the young lady did not apply the pads correctly so my eyelids were glued together after she finished with the application. Moon came over and had to pry my eyes apart...she also had to remove the lashes that were left and start the process over again. My eyes were hurting extremely and very irritated...so much so that she could not finish and asked me to come back another day once my eyes recovered. Not to mention that alot of my natural eyelashes were ripped out when she pryed my eyes open! This happened two weeks ago and my eyes still have not recovered! On top of that, she offered no discount and I was still expected to pay full price for the service!! Unbelievable.

I love Moon and her entire staff. I have been going to her day spa for eye brow threading for almost two years now. I don't trust anyone else but her (and staff) to thread my eyebrows. No more eyebrow waxing for this girl! Moon is so nice and personable!!! Her day spa is very clean and tidy. They all are very fast and precise! I  would highly recommend Moon and Moon Day Spa for you beauty needs, especially eyebrow threading :).

Moon is the absolute best at threading eyebrows! When I first started going my eyebrows were uneven from other places messing them up... so moon worked with me for months and now they are perfect and I couldn't ask any better from anybody else!! She has an awesome attitude! She was actually walking out the door today but walked back in just to do my eyebrows, which I thought was so awesome of her. Thank you moon for always being so great!!❤❤
