I stayed 3 nights and it was pretty quiet accept an outside train noise. The bed was so comfy though, think it was memory foam. I originally stopped at the other location because I have 2 dogs and it looked more pet friendly, but they wanted to charge me $15 dollars for my second dog?! I never had a motel 6 say that. So, I came to this location at 1350 main st. And it turned out to be a better location anyway. There is a park for kids or dogs a couple blocks away and a store 500 ft. away.

If you're looking for a Motel 6 in the area, go to this one, on Main St.. NOT the one on Yucca Ave. This motel has much better service and no cash $100 deposit.. I had a major credit card in my name I was paying with and they still insisted I have $100 CASH to stay... Why?! Anyways Route 66 motel 6 is far better and worth the money for the nicer stay.

A very affordable hotel with friendly staff. The room was big enough, nice and clean and it had comfortable beds. It had all the things you would expect for the price. I found the motel perfect for a one night stay and highly recommend it.

Super dirty!!!!! When staying in a budget hotel my expectations are low. Really low. But this hotel in Barstow is simply put intolerable, because the room was really dirty. The floor looked completely uncleand, as the window did. And the towel was so dirty that I refused to use it. Again, a budget hotel comes with a low experience. So I can tolerate the simplicity of the room, the broken faucet, the noise, and that all looks shabby. But not cleaning the rooms properly and give dirty towels is NOT OK. Please exchange the management in this facility!

Great bed. Shower needs to be replaced. The tile is falling off the shower. It would be a great room if the bathroom was remodeled.
