This is an amazing place. The employees are so nice and the pool and hot tub are clean. The beds are soft and rooms are clean. It's located 15 min from ski resort and smokey the bear park. It's a great place to stay with great prices. Ask for Teddy G he will definitely take care of your family like he did mine

My first impression, not very clean. The smallest details can make a huge difference. When we first walked in everything seemed dirty. Trash cans, floors, walls, carpet. The staff that we encountered were very nice. The elevator could have used a good scrub down as well as the pool area. I was a little surprised people were in there. Our room was a decent size. There were 2 big box t.v.’s and neither worked. The towels looked dingy and the bathtub needed to be scrubbed a little more. When I turned the water on to shower, the water came out brown and there was not enough hot water for my friend who showered about 30 minutes after I did. You can also hear everything going on upstairs. I woke up at about 7 to, what sounded like a child running back and forth above us. I understand at the rate we paid, we are not going to get the top of the line but it does need to be cleaned up and upgraded a lot. I have yet to encounter a Motel 6 in this condition. I understand they are privately owned but I would assume since they are using the name, they would be held to a certain uniform standard.

The hotel was dirty and the room that we got was small and looked and felt like a broom closet. The beds were uneven one was lower then the other. The T.V didn't work with the remote you had to be right in front of the T.V for it to work. The bathroom had no toiletries and the toilet paper roll was almost done and they only left us with one extra roll for four people. One elevator in the whole place that made a horrible screeching sound when you go up and down and we happened to be right across from the elevator. The pool was dirty and gross. I paid extra to get the indoor pool because I had booked the travel lodge and they only had an outdoor pool so I paid more for the Motel 6 and I wish to God that I didn't it was disgusting.

Was looking forward to staying the night in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Having never stayed at a Motel 6 there-all I had to compare to was other places I had the pleasure of staying while in Ruidoso. My check in time was 4pm their time (I reside in Texas). I arrived at 5:00 (giving plenty of time for things to be in order) and I was taken back by how unprofessional the atmosphere was. The front desk was managed by a female that was more interested in telling me how glad she was she didn't have to work the next day and seemed extremely scatter brained about her duties. I asked where we should park according to our room location and by the time it was all said and done (lack of direction on her part) we move our vehicle 3 times. Paid and was assured our room was ready-turn to ask which way we needed to go once on our floor and she just stood there...as if she did not understand the question. At that time a "guest" answered for her. As we exited the elevator onto our floor it was loud and the house keeping staff seemed to be frazzled. Squeezing by the maids cart and dirty laundry in the hall-We make it to our assigned room. It was opened and still dirty. When I asked the house keeping staff about it...they replied in a very frustrated way...we told her your room was not ready. Mind you-my check in was 4pm. The lady from the front desk acted like it was no big deal as we had to wait in the hall for 30min while it was being cleaned. I tried calling to express my dismay of the entire experience...GOT THE RUN-AROUND! We finally were able to go in the room and the cleaning solution was SO strong we couldn't stay in there. Not a Motel that I would recommend! They say you get what you pay for...but common sense and kindness should not cost anything!!!

The service was great. The room was awful. The lights flickered. The bathroom had cracked time and had grout missing. I went to give my kids a bath and the water was yellow. In the morning there was no hot water. We had no fire detector and where it was missing had wires hanging out of the wall.
