Was a last minute decision to stay. The check in was quick and friendly considering the time, 11pm. The room was clean and located near a 24 hr McDonald's which was useful. The price was great considering it was the weekend. Would stay here again if needed.

I'm a single mom of 5 boys and I needed a day for myself. Staying at Motel 6 was a wonderful experience, everyone that works there was very friendly. Even though my stay was for a few hours, it helped me to re-energize myself. Room was very clean and tidy.

We got a non smoking room and we got in there, myself, my husband and 3 toddlers, it smelled like smoke. Probably from the vent from other rooms but it took some time for the smell to go away. Didn't have anything to spray. Also as soon as I opened the entrance door I killed a baby roach and checked everywhere and nothing so it wasn't a big deal. 
It was super quiet and at the end we got reat. Prices are good and they semi friendly. But I got the night shift lady and she was top notch on her job and friendly.

In Oct  2017 I wrote this review ( two Stars)- Room  141 still had  pizza box, previous renter's Listerine bottle in bathroom, and worse, the prior person's luggage in the room when I arrived late.    The staff needs to quality assure a room is ready.

Shower facilities  are poor. water pours over small edge in the " full size" room

Now in March 2018  I, upgrade the review to 3 stars, I have stayed her  a number of time due to close proximity to DTLA for an overnight stay. The quality has  somewhat improved. I suppose the first time  was a fluke. But good basic value for the overnight traveler at a reasonable price.  The competitor is the  Air BnB room availability  but there you have a near break even in room cost compared to this chain.  At least you know these rooms are regulated in standards
