The room we got the entry door was hard to open because the metal at the bottom kept catching and sticking the door shut. 
  Then the bathroom door had the facing on both side loosening and almost coming off when opening it.
  The air conditioner cover was hanging off on the floor. 
The lighting in all the fixture was very dim like a dungeon. 
I requested to change to a different room which it had cockroaches crawling in several places. 
  The Bathroom sink leaked in the floor underneath when using it.
  The toilet flush handle was half broken off.
  The carpet was frayed in the walkway leading to the bathroom.

Check in was smooth, the employees at the front desk were extremely pleasant. The room was clean upon arrival minus the dirty rag under the the sink sitting on a pipe. It was also equipped with a working AC unit. My only issue was the lack of fridge/microwave and the tv that took me back to the 90s. This is literally a place to sleep. You aren't going to want to lounge around at this particular motel. All in all it wasn't to bad.

Cheap but definitely needed a good cleaning. In fact I had to clean the carpet myself but the housekeepers are very friendly. But they definitely need to have more amenities they only thing they give you is a couple of towels a couple of really terrible pillows and a bar of soap no shampoo method no extra pillows no extra towels. I would say you get what you pay for but I know I've been to a couple of other places that had more amenities than this and definitely knew how to use the carpet cleaner even if it was a smoking and pet room it still wasn't that nasty of a carpet and they still let you at least have an extra pillow with you asked. And those places cost the same they're few and far between but they are there

Former Motel-6.  
Now a Roadway Inn.  
Basic no frills room with two beds & a TV.  Quiet area.  
I got a good nights sleep.

Just off I-10 a little out of the way (dead end of frontage road). Staff were great, rooms somewhat updated (new showers, floors, but old TV). Felt very safe and easy access to food & back on to I-10.
