I think 1 star is FAR too much credit! My fiance and I had to stay here due to him being on leave and conveniently located off rte 2 with plenty of shopping restaurants close by. Other than that we will NEVER return. The non smoking room stunk of cigarettes, both non smoking rooms we had since the heater was broke in the first room we got and then had to pack up and be moved to another room (which the woman who helped find us a new room was very kind) HOWEVER, the following day our uber couldn't get there until 2 to drive us to the Superbowl party we were attending so I asked the front for a 2pm check out. Check out is noon here. If I hadn't put my foot down the front desk employee would have told us no late check out at all. Instead of enjoying our last hour together I had to sit on the phone with guest services and wait for them to contact the the hotel manager (all over an hour difference) well John the manager called me back and proceeded to argue with me that HIS employees wanted to get home to watch the Superbowl so it would be a huge bother for us to stay that extra HOUR because of housekeeping leaving at 3pm. Mind you this was a Sunday with an empty parking lot! The tubs were stained rust and gunk and the towel holders you couldn't use because when you pull your towel out the whole contraption holder falls apart! The cost was 74 for the night AFTER military and AAA discount which is only a 20$ difference between a higher end chain and this place. best advice : PAY THE 20$ if you don't need to stay close to a base as we did! Not to mention the entire back side of the motel is clearly filled with addicts and other lovely things that go along with that lifestyle and it was very clear. It's very unfortunate because of employees like this is how chains go under.

Everyone was very nice there...we were greeted immediately and the lady was so polite and nice and professional. The maintenance man that was walking around was awesome. He was very nice, introduced himself and said we could ask him for any help we need. The room was clean. It was a great night. Thank you.

It's a bare-bones budget hotel, and it's a chain, so there's no one really invested in running it. The workers are all hourly and care "enough." The decor is spartan. The colors bland. The sink did not work well. The hot water was where the cold should be and vice-versa, and the lever that moved the drain didn't work. The drain had to be grabbed manually and then tilted slightly sideways to work. We were here a couple of years ago, in a different room, and the sink was like that then, too. The towels were stuck through plastic rings, and the rings came out when we tried to pull the towels out. And then the rings were hard to get away from the towels. Of course, it's a Motel 6, so wifi was not free. We got one budget connection and it worked adequately, but there were not very many people staying here. The location, right off Route 2, would seem to be convenient, but coming from the East it's a bit confusing to get there. The motel lays in the middle of a no-man's-land of strip malls and stores with their own parking lots, and you have to follow the directions precisely. The surroundings are very ugly. There are several stores within walking distance, but watch out at night when crossing streets. It's not pedestrian-friendly. The hotel does not keep its grounds clear of rubbish, except for the parking lot, so everywhere you look is pavement and blown-around trash. But it's cheaper than most of the options around there. And it was clean.

Very comfortable stay. Liked that you are able to enter and exit your room without traveling through the building. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Was a very polite and clean cheap place for me and my family to spend a few hours together. Employee at front desk was very polite
