I stayed at the Pismo Beach Motel 6 on 4/26 and 4/27.  The room was clean.  Great location to all amenities, and minutes to the beach.  The staff was friendly.  Easy access, right off the 101 fwy. There was no bottle of shampoo, like they used to provide, but I always bring my own, anyway. This is my usual place to stay when I come to visit family in the area.
On 4/28 we stayed at the Morro Bay Motel 6.  Once again, great access to the fwy.  It was surprisingly quiet since our room faced away from the fwy.  The room was clean, but there was no shampoo bottle.  We have several electronic items to charge overnight, so we had to hunt for an electrical outlet.  Finally found it when we moved the bedside table away from the wall.  A single outlet (2 plugs) was exactly what we needed.  We don't spend much time in the room, so it works great for us.

This was one of our best vacations ever! The room was decent, nothing fancy but it was clean! They had us right by the pool like we asked online when booking, they are pet friendly and offer you bags to clean up after your pets, and the staff was really awesome. Anytime we needed anything, they were on it right away. They even got us checked into our room early and it was no issue. We had a great stay and we'll definitely be back again! Thanks Motel 6!

Motel 6 is bare-bones accommodations --- but it was clean, quiet, and safe. There was no blow-dryer, refrigerator or microwave in the room, but the bed was reasonably comfortable and the wall-mounted flat screen was big . They're pet friendly, yet I neither saw nor smelled any evidence of dogs having been in the room. I'm in a wheelchair, and the amenities of my Disabled Access room included sufficient space to maneuver my chair, raised toilet, lower sink/mirror, and a roll-in shower with hand-held shower head and a bench seat. Convenient to Freeway 101, tons of restaurants nearby, but a few minutes drive from the ocean. 
At $106 per night for the hubs and I on a Saturday night, the room was better than places we've spent a LOT more on and we can spend all that cash elsewhere!

Perfect spot right off the highway.  Couldn't have asked for anything better.  Great value for the last minute traveler.   Safe and convenient. Good service.

Not happy at all room was very dirty. The toilet had pee in it when we got in the room. The toilet had poop spots in the toilet. The soap had black stuff on it and it was a new soap but it was open. The floor had black stuff on it looked like it has not been moped in weeks. So I went to the office to get more towels so I can clean the floor my self. There is  toilet paper stuck to the ceiling and I have pic to prove it. And I am not a person that is a clean freak. I will never stay here again. Paid $279.00 for one night.
