Guy at desk( that could not speak English )gave me a key to first room.it was already Occupied .so I accidentally walked in on some dude entertaining his self. Was sort of an Awkward moment for both of us.so then got a new room and it had no remote.went to desk and was given a remote with no batteries.after an hour of back and forth I finally was able to turn on the T.V. but the rooms are ok.i just wonder why every hotel I stay in these days has a guy named Patel at the desk.are they all related?

Great location, solid value for the price, and a staff who quickly, politely resolved my issue (door key would not function).

The State line road motel 6 is MUCH nicer than the other motel 6 on St Michael in Texarkana. We will stay in the State Line road motel in the future. More convenient as well.

On my ride back from TX to PA I decided that I would stay at hotels instead of Airbnbs. Hoping that it would be a more predictable stay. Oh how I was wrong. From the start of walking into this room I was greeted by a room that was let's say tropical in its temperature and humidity. It only took the air-conditioner about an hour to get the room to an acceptable temperature. Hoping to get a reprieve in the bathroom I entered a world that could only be explained in disastrous. From the start I could see that there was a nice hole in the wall that no one felt like patching as well as a good old stain was smashed bug on the floor and unbelievable amount of flies. Never in my life have I going to the waffle house just to go to the bathroom. Upon returning from the waffle house I could only suspected there was a prostitute right in front of my room. She proceeded to stay there for at least two hours I had no idea what she was doing she was doing. Lastly the bed. There were stains about the comforter of the bed unknown to me he would they would be I decided that I would sleep in my sleeping bag on top of the sheet. I have to admit I'm surprised I don't have bedbugs and or lice. I guess this hospitality is out of the norm when you spend a whopping $45 on a room. I would never intend on staying in this Motel 6 again nor would I ever recommend it to my biggest foe.

I travel a lot and this is by far the worst stay. I couldn't get a wink of sleep. I stayed up all night killing roaches. I was exhausted from traveling and almost wanted to spend extra money to get another hotel. I was nervous that a roach might crawl in my ear while sleeping so I use toilet paper. Definitely an issue that needs to be addressed. It's not a minor problem. Every few minutes I saw one crawling somewhere !
