Great little skate shop. Owner is extremely nice and the other employees are as well. Very helpful and informative. All were very nice to my son who is just learning and me who is coming back after 30+ years of not skating. It is even cooler that we see one of the employees at the parks in the area and he is always looking out for my boy, saying hello and smiling. Prices are great as well and the selection is top notch. I see a lot of kids with their boards at parks in the area and that is because the employees are excellent to work with and show they really care about the sport. Mahalo Motiv8!

I can't overstate my gratitude for Motiv8. My team sponsored a family for Christmas this year and Motiv8 worked with me to get one of the kids a skateboard. There is an underprivileged kid who is going to have the best Christmas ever because of this shop.

Best skateshop in Chicagoland hands down. Run by a passionate, unpretentious and helpful dude and the prices are fair as hell. No Longboards, no scooters, just pure skateboards. This shop is great and they have a wide selection. Only skate shop I'll ever visit when I'm in town.

Great service and good boards. Owner took time fitting our small kids with pads. Will come back for skateboards soon. :)
