We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cool summer breezes and proximity to the ocean made it a wonderful place to spend the summer. The spots are level and not too close together. The water pressure could have been better. They had few campground activities and not much to do in the park but Bar Harbor and Acadia is 13 minutes away. During peak times there is a bus to take you into Bar Harbor and surrounding areas of Acadia.

It's right on the ocean the first Campground you come to and it's near just about everything. There was a section that look like people stayed there all year round. They also had motorhome hookups and places to pitch tents with picnic tables. Beautiful views and sunsets.

Nice clean sites. Bay view sites are a premium and hard to get, some don't have much privacy. Off the bay sites are all exposes to the sun with very little shade or separation from your fellow campers. Would still recommend this campground.
