Get ready for the Wild West. No reservations and cash only. We were told that they never sell out but be ready with another plan if they're sold out. They sold out every day we were there. We got there and they only had water electric sites so we took what we could get. Other people were just driving around endlessly looking for,available sites. Then we realized we were lucky to get any site with any hookups. We went late August and thought it wouldn't be crowded but it was crowded every day. We stayed for a week. Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor great location.

We loved this campground. For the price and location, it can't be beat. The pool is at the top-back of the campground, and overlooks the hill down to the water. You can pick fresh blueberries all over that hill. The pool itself is clean, blue and very inviting. The campgrounds are separated by trees if you get one down the hill a bit. That's where we were, and we very much enjoyed the privacy. You can also walk to get coffee, breakfast and ice cream without crossing the street.

Very nice campground with lots of places, full hookups, WiFi, pool and a nice view. Noise and disturbance policy strictly enforced which makes for a very peaceful place despite the size. Close to Bar Harbor, nice playground for the kids next to the pool, and large blueberry fields.

Been visiting this same campground for over 30 years. What a great location, pool is great (sometimes a bit cool), restrooms are very clean, blueberry picking during mid summer. No frills grounds. There are no activities for children, but plenty to do with basketball, shuffleboard, hockey, playground, soccer field and plenty of well maintained roads for bicycles. The caveat is likely the non reservation system. All you need to do is show up between 10AM and Noon and even on 4th of July weekend, there will likely be an open site. This campground accommodates big rigs to simple tent sites. Lucky site hunters may even get an ocean view! Spectacular views of an ocean cove and Cadillac Mountain. Such a peaceful spot, close to it all and I should mention first stop on free shuttle from Bar Harbor! Happy Camping!

Cash Only! Very small but secluded sites in the wooded area. Felt right at home. Bring a flashlight at night, They have no streetlights anywhere and you will get lost going to the restroom. All in all great place to stay very close to the action.
