Overall National Car Rental has been excellent. The app is easy to use (and the one time I forgot to make a reservation, they quickly got me up/running and in a rental). I recently forgot a vest in a vehicle and the staff quickly packaged and shipped the vest to my home. Since moving to National from using other rental agencies, I haven't felt the need to go anywhere else.

I love the Emerald Club program. Getting my car and to my customer is fast and easy. Returns are just as easy. Best thing ever!

Generally have a great experience but this time wasn't as great.  Made it to Rental lot with a long line of people and an empty lot.  There were 4 dodge minivans and when offered I needed to leave (typical late airliners).  I jumped in one of the few van and the thing was a smoking pile of odors.  Van had 33k (ish) miles and drove like it had 230k.  Inside smelt very musky.  Not my favorite rental experience with national

There were Lack of car selection, the only cars available were impala, which is the worst car in America.  The seats were the most uncomfortable,  lack of cushion, low to the ground especially if your passenger is 6’2. No lumbar support.  The only reason this review has 2 stars because the car was brandnew and it has only 4 miles in it.  But it could be worst, if the car was old and high mileage, it will be a nightmare.  As an executive member, the overall experienced for customer service was zero.  The person at the kiosk did not properly check-out the car because the computer was down at that time.  By the time I returned the car nobody knows when the car was picked-up, no record that the car was rented, I had to stay in line for half an hour at the front desk to explained that i was not given  any paperwork on the day that i rented the car because your computer was “down”.  I had to show the email confirmation to jogged down your memory.  I Seriously recommend that you look at this matter carefully, not only this opens to liability it looks really bad as a service industry but also your competency as a company due to inefficiency.

National makes it easy to pick up and drop off your car I recommend becoming a Emerald club member so you can just walk right up and pick any car you want. The people at the Ontario CA airport are always very nice and helpful.
My last visit on 11/7/17 they literally had NO cars available. This has never happened to me before in this location. The National Car Associate that was working that day was so nice and quick to get me on the road with one of the upgrade vehicles. She let me drive off in a BMW 430i it was Awesome. I think it might be my next car. BMW should thank National for giving me a chance to test drive their that car. Thank you National.
