Have already rented 5 times at this location, always consistent great and fast service received. All the staffs esp. Kevin are very friendly and feel welcomed at picking and returning the vehicle. Vehicles are new and clean. Will continue renting cars at this location!
National Car Rental is hosted out of the same Enterprise Rent a car facility. Have to say, the service I get from these folks has been great. I’ve rented from here more than 10 times and always have had a great experience. Cars are clean and never had an issue with any one of them.
Avoid!! Go to Hertz!! After landing at the airport and having a reservation booked for months, myself, my pregnant wife, and 3 year old were told they had NO CARS and we should just wait on the curb for an undefined period of time. There was another person waiting for 2.5 hours with no car! After an hour I went to Hertz and they accommodated me immediately. I have been a loyal National customer up until now. Unacceptable and unprofessional experience. If you want a seamless travel experience, rent through Hertz!
Update: although Kevin and the location was excellent, National car rental, billed me from the damages that I had nothing to do with! They claimed I ruined a catalytic converter and the oxygen sensor?! And I was billed for $1904. First of all catalytic converters are damaged by excessive clogging and no maintenance in a timely manner, not in one day by me. Oxygen sensors are also damaged by excessive clogging of byproducts- again I couldn’t have done that in one day. The poor maintenance of the car by National caused me to not only have to put myself, my toddler and my pregnant wife in a stressful situation while on vacation but now they want me to pay for their incompetence of maintaining their cars. I’m never renting from National again and it’s very unfortunate. I called national claim center several times, and emailed the damage recovery team several times with no luck. review prior to being billed for damages: Excellent location! Kevin was so amazing, professional and very helpful! He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We originally rented a car on arrival to YTZ and within two days the car had a “check engine” warning. So after calling nationals line we were told to exchange the car at YYZ and drop it off at YTZ on departure. Kevin was phenomenal, and was very sympathetic with our situation- especially that we have a toddler- and took his time to understand our situation and fixed everything for us. Thank you Kevin you are the best!!!!
Easiest car rental we’ve done, picked up the car no issues, on the road within 10 mins, drop off was equally easy.
One of the best National rental locations in Toronto. The team is ever so welcoming and will go the extra mile! The checkout process is simple and easy with no paper involved if you part of their membership and you can be in and out in a minute. They will always do whatever it takes to make sure your needs are met and always are able to give you an upgrade as well as making adjustments to your reservations and ensure your never overcharged. Great service by the managers at this location and will always reply to your email even if you can't get them on the phone. I rent on a weekly basis with them and then always will help in whatever way they can.
What a great experience with this National car rental facility. Very pleasant crew. They went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied! I would rent here again in a second!! Thank you for the awesome customer service!!!
NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN. I have been a loyal customer to national car rental as emerald executive member. But this location CHARGED ME EXTRA for road side assistance even though I had already paid during my reservation. I have called national customer care and reported the same but no use, I never got a call!!! which they promised. They even sent mail to look into the matter and I will get a call back soon. It’s four days I am still waiting.
Enterprise/National at the Billy Bishop airport in Toronto is has been awful to work with since the recent change in management from Shiv to Paul. They don’t honor upgrades, the car I received was not ready or clean by my scheduled pick up time, and the car had a cratch in the rear side of the car caused by the prior client, which the office had not recorded in the paperwork. Last week I called to reserve a car to attend a funeral and they would not answer the phone. When I arrived to the airport and went to enterprise to ask for a car and to inquire if their phone was not working, the Assitant Manager said that they had ran out of cars for over a week and so they were not longer answering the phone. I was a recurring customer at the Enterprise office at Billy’s Bishop but not sure I will go back again.
I am VERY dissapointed in the quality of service National car rental has shown me. Ive been a long time loyal customer and this time renting a vehicle from this location was horrible. I was charged all these ridiculous extra fees. My rental went from estimating cost 1039.00 to charging my credit card 1916.00 $$$$ I've tried to contact this company for almost 4 days now and no one will get back to me. They never i mean NEVER answer the phone. I would like to be provided with an email I can contact the local Manager.
