Really?  Eggs Benedict sounded great so we confirmed that the English muffins would be toasted and buttered and the server says "yeah yeah" and to no surprise they come out raw!!  That's not being picky... that's merely pointing out a kitchen staff that should be sent back to McDonalds!!!  These places throw anyone they can get into the kitchen and hope for the best.  Never again or anyone we know will spend a dime here.  The front desk people we interacted with checking in were top notch hospitality professionals however. Room was good and should be for the outrageous price.

We knew it was a historic building with all that entails but the major disappointment and hence lower evaluation was the permeating smell of plumbing gone awry in the main lobby. Wha happened? I didn't  ask for an explanation. Hopefully the issue will be resolved shortly. Go for the view and location. Picture is from the back porch.

Great location and awesome staff. I left an item behind in my room and the staff helped find it and mail it to me. 

The hotel has a great view of the mountain, and although it doesn't have Wifi, it allows you to escape the real world without notifications from your phone.

I was locked out of my car (at Paradise) after summiting the mountain. The Paradise inn was full so I hitched a ride to the National Park Inn at midnight. Really wish there was a shuttle or taxi available to take guests up to Paradise. Had to bum a ride from other hotel guests to get back up the 12 mile road (after finding my key the next morning). One of the ladies at the front desk was very friendly and seemed truly concerned about our situation. She was the one who suggested speaking with the other guests to find a ride. Lots of friendly people were staying at the inn and a very kind couple offered me a ride.

We visited the inn for the day with family while visiting the park. I definitely want to stay here someday! We got coffees at the front desk/ restaurant and relaxed on the porch with a view of mt Rainer. We had dinner here with friends years ago and the food was really good then so I'm sure it's even better now!
