Basic accommodations at Paradise on Mt. Rainier, the Paradise Inn offers a unique stay in an awesome location. It is about a two minute walk to the Paradise Visitor's Center. Much of the rooms do not have ensuite bathrooms, and you will need to share both the shower and toilets. While this is annoying, the location is assuredly fantastic and the lodge itself has a nice vibe to it. The rooms are comfortable, and they stoke a fire at night to enjoy next to. There is a restaurant site with decent food, though prices are understandably high due to the location.

Paradise Inn is located in Mount Rainier National Park. The Inn celebrates its one hundredth year in 2017. Rooms in the original building are still available but have shared bathroom facilities. A newer and his the bulk of the rooms. These are newer but starting to show their age and this building is due for refurbishment next year. Rooms are small but comfortable. Many rooms have excellent views over Mt Rainier and other peaks within the park. Service was excellent throughout. We had dinner in the dining room and the food was excellent, with a good selection of beers and wines. Despite its size the dining room was free of the noise that is all too common in many restaurants these days. Overall this was a very pleasant stay and if we were returning to the Park we would certainly stay there again.

Horrible!!! 4 star prices and run by amateurs it seems. COLD food and then after sending back both entrees came out COLD AGAIN!!!! $80 wasted and not even comped for the awful experience so one star is actually generous. Salmon cooked with skin on and not pan fried before baking so it was served with RAW skin!! We couldn't wait to get out of there and will never go back or let anyone we know go near that place.

Great staying at the Paradise Inn. It's a journey back to the simpler times and an amazing opportunity to disconnect and forget about the world for a bit. Amazing lodge with great atmosphere and the obvious attraction, Mt Rainier, is the icing on the cake. A must visit for everyone. Highly recommended.

They do not take dinner reservations, but luckily the line was very short and we were quickly seated. They had at least two gluten free dinner entree options so my wife was able to choose. She chose the salmon and I chose the chicken breast. The food was quite good, although I was glad to have the sauce on the chicken since the meat was slightly dry. We had one of there less expensive red wines and it was quite adequate for our taste. The service was good and the server quite knowledgeable about the menu. In summary, we had a very enjoyable dining experience.
