Was in paradise for business and needed a room for the night. The location is very convenient. When i walked in the staff greeted me promptly and pleasantly. Rates were very good, so i was expecting mediocre cleanliness and service. I was surprised when i walked in the room and it was spotless, everything was in order. This hotel was apparently a comfort inn, but it is no longer and is unaffiliated with any chains. I will definitely stay here the next time i visit.

Stayed there 3 yes ago. The place was full of drug addicts using some type of vouchers to stay there. Was there last month and it looked better, but doing renovations. There was a power surge in our room and shot a blue flame of electricity through the cord of my flat iron. The girl at the from desk just said sorry. It was an expensive CHI flat iron. Next night we came in. A lot of noise from the room across the hall. Then our room started smelling like cigarette smoke. We walked downstairs to tell the front desk. She said sorry again. Nothing was done. We may start staying in Chico when we visit my father in law. This place is on a bad downhill run.

Wow Checked in and was I amazed at the Tweaker situation going on there. The Construction/Maintenance Crew and some of the Maids were really getting high, all hours of the night, slamming doors, partying, I'll never stay there again. Maids were not pleasant either, it was like I was bothering them because I needed clean towels. Wow Buyer beware.

ok not the best experience ever, we got here on construction time, like the whole reception was being built, so we had to check in in a room. we were supposed to stay for about 2 nights but nope it did not work at all for us, we couldnt wait to leave asap. the next day they decided to shut down the elevator from noon to 4 pm which made it super hard for us to leave, we were on the 3rd floor, so try bringing the kids plus bags plus stroller and car seat down thru the stairs, very difficult, such inconvenience, they should of shut it down at night time, or they should of shut down the whole hotel while they were having renovations. they do have breakfast and was ok, my kids and i went to grab some in the morning, and we had this huuugeee rude people staring at us like we did not belong there, just pissed me off, thats why we also couldnt wait to leave. Rude cleaning ladies let me tell you, i dropped my babys formula box and they just walked by it, looked at it and walked away, so i had to go back put baby down and pick it up. Never again staying here.

This is a quirky hotel. It looks very nice on the outside. The inside is a bit dated but it was clean. That's okay. It had many of the same elements, exact design elements like sconces on the wall, door locks, placards, etc. that we saw at some Comfort Inns that we recently stayed at.This was not bad but made me curious as to the relationship of this hotel and IHG. Maybe they both use the same supplier. The reason that I gave it 3 stars was that our room was next to the supply closet where all the housekeepers were hung out before they started their work. They parked their carts outside our room door, we could hear them talking in the morning in the supply closet and the hall. Other problems included that there wasn't hot food in the morning for breakfast. I thought it was strange that although there was the chafing dishes for the eggs, omelets, bacon, etc BUT there were no eggs, omelets, bacon, etc. The staff said that the "order" hadn't come in. That's lame. Other problems was that the wifi was lame, cutting in and out. The hotel needs to upgrade their network infrastructure as that it was an open wifi with several access points. This is not standard. Other problems included that the floor was uneven in our room (strange) too much bulky furniture and while the mattress wasn't horrible it wasn't great either.
