Jey is very clear and direct in educating you about your hair and the loc process. I have learned so much since starting my loc journey in July. She is quick and professional. I have never been disappointed or dissatisfied.

Every time I get my locs done ppl are in awe at how great they look and I have Jey to thank for that! I've tried many salons in different area codes and Jey tops them all by a long shot! If you're looking for someone to maintain your locs and natural hair, I definitely recommend Jey!

What a fraud. She was late for the appointment yet her website speaks against tardiness. Her demeanor is rude and condescending if she isn’t the one who started your locs. She proceeded to wash my starter locs without telling me in advance that she didn’t comb coil which was my starting method and what I prefer. She only twisted the roots and left the rest undone and unkempt showing she has no respect for either her quality of work or the client’s appearance. My mother who went to her for a long while was horrified that she botched my hair and refuses to patronize her again. I suggest she tone down her arrogance and learn to listen to the client and broaden her range of techniques of loc’ing hair. If you want you hair done right and to not encounter such negativity, go elsewhere. Ironically I met 3 of her former clients at the loctician who fixed her debacle. I see why they left. If I could enter zero stars I would but this review requires at least one.
