I adore Indian food and have been to quite a few restaurants in Boston, Atlantic City, Atlanta, Greensboro, and here in Winston Salem and I have to say these guys are the best. I even had them provide some of the food for my wedding! The food is always awesome and the staff is friendly and very attentive, enough so that it's the only restaurant I know the staff on a first name basis, which being a shy person myself really says something. The buffet during lunch is perfect for someone who has not had a chance or doesn't want to risk ordering something they don't like. Honestly the best Indian restaurant I've been to!

My family loves Indian food and we were so glad we found this gem when we moved here. The food and naan are cooked to perfection and I try a new dish every time we go. The servers are some of the most friendly people we have met. We couldn't find a sitter last time so we took our 18 month old and the servers joked and entertained our child the whole time. (we went early so there wasn't a large crowd) He now gets excited when we got to Nawab together because he wants to play with his friends.

Truly exception and authentic Indian food. Take a risk; order a new dish. Each is exceptional. The wait staff is astoundingly efficient. It you eat at Nawab more than once, the staff will not only remember you, they will recall the wine you ordered--the last meal you ordered. Excellent experience.

Incredible food, quick and kind service, and the lunch buffet is one of the best deals in town.
