We has seen the advertisements in the past for the lobster buffet but had read some of the past reviews and always decided to take a pass. This year we decided to try it for Thanksgiving and came away extremely pleased. The buffet itself has a lot of items. Lobster, crab legs, shrimp and all of the Thanksgiving favorites, including a carving station with turkey and ham. We went for the lobster and we got our wish. We had a 12:30 reservation and the place was packed when we got there. Despite the rush, the buffet was completely stocked with quality food. The lobsters are just another item on the buffet. You don’t have to special order them. Just walk up and help yourself. There was never a time when they ran out. They were anywhere from 1-2 pounds in size and perfectly cooked. The same was true for nearly every other item we tried. Complimenting the food was our service. Our waitress, Tonya was always there when needed whether it be to clear shells or provide re-fills. A look around showed that we were not the only ones getting that type of service. Management was very visible and made sure that things were kept moving along smoothly. In short, we came away pleasantly surprised by our experience. They may have had some rough times in the past but our visit showed a restaurant that had its act together. I would not be surprised if this became a family tradition of ours. Great food, great service and no dishes to clean up at the end! Well done Neptune!

Food was just okay. Had breakfast sandwich. I was appalled though at the staff and management for allowing a dog to sit in a chair at the table licking the table and laying his head on table, and ultimately being fed from the food delivered to the table. When I spoke with the manager I was told he could not ask any questions when the owner says it's a service animal. A simple google of service animals rights or laws would show him he has the right to ask two questions. So he's gained a customer who lies about their dog being a service animal and they lost one who owns a timeshare on the boardwalk and likes dogs but chooses not to eat with them.

AWESOME DEAL when there's a seafood buffet that includes all you can eat lobster! Lobster (and all the seafood on the buffet) was DELICIOUS!

Went here for Thanksgiving Dinner. We had a reservation for 2:15pm and did not get seated until 3:30. I had to be at work at 6 so not so happy about making a reservation that wasn't honored. Besides that, the food was incredible! My boyfriend and I are pescatarian and they had an extensive menu for our diets. Our server was phenomenal, Russian lady by the name of Sveta (hope I'm saying it right), she hands down turned the experience around for us! If hostesses would have gotten it right would have left 5 stars.

Went to this restaurant for Christmas holidays. Lobster on buffet was horrible. I spent the summer in Maine. I know lobster. What Neptune’s had was crapster.
