First time into Nicks on a blustery Baltimore evening. The place was packed, even for a Thursday night, but I was able to find a seat at the bar. Service was excellent, within seconds of sitting down I was greeted by the bar staff and asked for my drink order. Ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Crab Cake dinner. Both were excellent! And fast! Maybe 5 minutes from my order to me chowing down. Great spot, great food, great staff. Check it out!

The food was delicious! For an appetizer, we had the four crab balls with garlic bread. The crab balls had just the right amount of seasoning, and not a lot of breading. I had the jumbo shrimp and grits and my husband had the scallops with creamy risotto. We would definitely order it again. There were also many other items on the menu that we would like to try the next time we visit.

My wife and I had dinner here while on a day trip to Baltimore. While a bit out of the way, it's really recommended to go here. We loved the décor and atmosphere - it really breathes "sea life". We in particular loved to sit outside, overlooking the water. I had the crab sandwich - yummy!

I was in town on business (first time in Baltimore) and we decided to try Nick's based on a local's recommendation for nearby crab cakes. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! Mine was the fried crab cake sandwich with slaw and fries. The crab was in thick chunks, and was sweet with just enough filler to bind. Everything was so good, even down to the lemony tartar sauce. My co-worker had the broiled crab cake entree and he was very happy with his, too. The restaurant was nice inside and they had plenty of seating with a view of the bay.

Excellent food and great service. Long way to drive from DE, but I would do it again. Thank you Lisa for introducing me to Nicks.
