My apartment is fantastic and the amenities are excellent!

The property manager is super responsive and respectful.

This is a small, family run business and the owners truly care about their tenants and the quality of their properties. I would highly recommend renting from NIETS.

I applied for a unit, including a deposit in the form of a $200 money order made out to myself, and then declined within 24 hours.  Niets refuses to return my deposit/holding fee, claiming that it has already been deposited.

This is illegal.  They deposited a money order addressed to me, without my endorsement.

Further, they claim that the unit will not be reserved for me, despite the fact that they already took the money I used to contractually reserve it.

Apparently, they would rather lose at least a month of rent and commit check fraud than simply return my deposit.
