I have three months left on my lease and I can say that this has been the worst apartment that I have ever lived in. The neighbors in my complex are loud at all times of the night and to the point that the bass shakes the walls. I had put complaints in at the beginning of my lease but it only helped temporarily and then continued and was pointless to press the issue. Then they rented a unit on my floor to a group of girls that smoked pot and had parties every week. Now I’m dealing with a neighbor who’s smoking addiction is effecting my life because their secondhand smoke makes its way into my unit and now I have to deal with the health risks and my belongings retaining the scent of stale cigarettes. I have paid my rent on time/early every month. I’m quiet and I’m also hardly home. I have been more then cooperative as a tenant and rarely requested assistance in any way. Now even asking for a copy of my lease agreement/trying to negotiate an early out is an argument. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone and I can only hope the building owner sees this and is willing to discuss my early leave. These next three months will be miserable otherwise.

I came to the reviews because I'm looking to rent a new apartment. But I guess I'll continue to stay where I'm at. Every place I find online looks good I guess but has bad reviews. I guess there goes my application fee and gas money back in the purse might as well not even drive to see it. Smh (shaking my head)

This is the worst place ever to move into. It's horrible, and not worth the money! Carlie and Cathy are the worst leading agents and move in anyone.. you have to wait weeks to get any repairs done. There are drug dealers everywhere.. not safe and I would not recommend a homeless person to move there..

We moved here in 2009, the rent was $899, and we were EXCITED because the townhomes were very nice.. But a few years in things started to change.. They were going up on the rent EVERY year, the walls are very thin, one of the adjoining home's bathroom leaks into my living room and nothing has been done about it, to the point I stopped calling in about it.. The rent has gone up and the value of this place is on a steady decline. The old property manager was so hateful, and I was thankful when new ownership took place. But slowly they became worse than the previous!.. They've been thru multiple maintenance workers, they'll come in and do an assessment then never come back, they'll break things and not fix them, I've had mold on both my bathroom ceilings for God knows how long, with continuous empty promises to get it taken care of, Carly the newer property manager will smile in your face and stab you in the back... She's lied RIGHT to my face a couple different times, this latest issue just BLEW me!!.... There was a multitude of issues that JUST were not getting resolved, so I sent corporate an email to call me, and surprisingly they did in 2 days.. I discussed my issues with him he addressed them, and everything was ok (so I believed).. About a month or so after our conversation we get a 5 day notice from Carly saying we had to pay a 50 fee or else.......... Now mind you there was a 50 dollar credit placed on our acct after speaking with someone from corporate, she stated this fee was for 2 bags of garbage that came from my home that was on the outside of the dumpsters out back (huuumm) that's odd??.... Now mind you there hasn't been a TIME were there wasn't garbage ALL around the dumpsters, my husband has even taken it upon himself to pick some of it up and put it into the dumpsters at times.. She showed us NO proof of her reasoning for giving us this 5 day.. That's like issuing a ticket without evidence!..... I called corporate AGAIN because now I feel like she's harassing us for calling corporate the 1st time.. This time corporate NEVER responds back....... So I asked her (Carly) about this and she says we weren't the only ones who received a letter, but the few people I asked said they didn't receive said letter.. So I started taking pictures of my own.. And will continue to do so until I leave/lease up.. It's VERY disappointing when you've made a place your home for so long to turn around and STILL be treated like you're NOTHING!!!.... I recommended 2 families to this place since living here, that actually moved in, but NEVER again will I!........

Absolutely pay attention to the review because when things are good there is no reason to complain. I moved into Harbor Pointe Townhouses about 5-6 years ago. At that time the only bad thing was the property manager Jason, he didn't like doing anything. Fast forward to now, well Carly and Rebecca have taken over and while they used to be AWESOME at their jobs they have since taken the same approach as the previous property manager Jason -- its takes 3-4 times as long getting issues resolved, they never want to replace broken appliances you can only fix something so many times till you have to replace it, the rent is steady going up and we are not getting any of the extra fix-ups they promised when they were bought out by Monarch Investment & Management Group, the property must be DESPERATE to rent the units because now they are allowing anyone to move to in so what you used to be a nice area is turning GHETTO. Because they are allowing anyone to move in now, some of the newer tenants are so lazy to the point that they sit garbage on the outside of the huge green trash cans and it ends up everywhere or they throw bbq coals in them which causes the cans to catch fire, some of the newer tenants are sketchy I see the outside late at night when I return from school or the gym just wandering around the back, the police have been over there more times in last 6-8 months then I ever saw them in the previous years because of some of the newer tenants. I keep saying newer tenants because those of us that have lived in the town homes for a while have never had these problems. We pay too much to have to put with ghetto-area issues. We hate moving around that’s they only thing that has kept us over there, but I have gotten to the point where I am ready to get the hell out of dodge and pay $1500-$1600 more a month to actual deal with property managers who care about the property and care about what type of people they allow to move into their units. I have called the Monarch Investment & Management Group to log a complaint, but wouldn’t you know it no one there ever answers the phones or calls back. Rent goes up every year and it’s getting worse and worse every year. The only thing they do keep up is the landscape. Two years ago I would have recommend Harbor Pointe Townhouses to anyone, now I am afraid to even mention the fact that I live over there.
